Court upholds prisoners' right to porn

news.yahoo.com

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Convicted sex offenders in Sweden are free to read pornography in their cells following a court ruling that has angered the prison service.

Hmmm I thought prison was for punishment, not for indulging in personal whims et al. The man in question was in prison for rape. As as I am concerned, once in jail, beyond the most basic human rights, you should have no rights PERIOD. From weights, to cigarettes, to yes even Teleivision, it all should go. In its place, education oppurtunites, farming (To offset food costs) , lots of time to ponder ones life path should be all there is.

Can't read the source material, the server blocks that site. Funny thing is, I'm reading this from a correctional facility. The perp gets his porn and I can't get Yahoo.

The story is a joke. Con's rights gone too far. They can't even get Maxim here. As to TV, 1 for the whole range(up to 30 inmates).

Hmmmm it works okay for me.

Yes they need to take thier cue from that Sherif in Arizona who has in inmates in tent cities, 1 b/w tv for ALL of the inmates that has 1 channel, pink jump suits, chain gangs, and 3 square meals a day (All baloney sandwichs)
Now that tought love
