I have friends???

Just wondering why on my profile, in the 'threads by my friends' section, there are four threads [2 each from 2 people]. I wasn't aware I had added any friends nor been added to anyone else's list.

Not complaining, friends are good--and one of them is Simon, thats cool; the other one is William, he seems cool too.

Just mystified as to how they got there.

Odd that. I just looked at your profile, and don't see any threads by "Your Friends" listed there.

But just so you don't feel left out, I will add you to my "Friend" list.


And I just checked my profile as well, and don't see any threads by my friends either. (and I do have a good sized friends list) ??

But its weird, because sometimes they're there and sometimes not., and today there were just there.

I swear I'm not making this up.

But its no big deal either way, I just was going to put them on my list if I was on theirs, seemed polite, but when I looked at their profiles, my name's not there.

Yup, they're gone alright, just checked.

Must be a glitch in the matrix.

Is this SimonGray, and William (as in SkepticOverlords old moniker?)

If so, maybe it is some default thing. (They are both administrators here)

I just did some scientific (ok, not so scientific) research into this, and found that whan I am on the BTS domain, and go to my profile, then I see the "Threads by my friends" list.

But when I am on the ATS domain, it does not show up.

Mystery partially solved!

And further intensive (lol) research indicates that now I am 1. on your freinds list and 2. the only threads I see listed in your profile as "Thread by my friends" are mine. Don't see the others that you mentioned, though.

I think that they could have been as I said before, some sort of default, since prior to my selecting you as one of my friends, you did not have any (on your lists) and perhaps they were inserted, just to fill in the void.

But as I don't know for certain, maybe this is just one of those things that we will never know.

Yes it was Simon Gray, I just figured maybe he's friends with everybody.

William, not sure, his threads were in the fiction-writing forum.

So try it from the BTS domain, if only to verify my findings...

The two from Simon were newbie Board info stuff, I maybe/probably had bookmarked them earlier in the week, but thats a different function than the friend's threads list, & I cleared the ones like that a few dyas ago.

Oh, no. I meant to check and see if mine were there. I think that the ones that you saw before you had any friends on your list should be gone for good now. Unless of course, they do actually add you as a friend.

No, none of yours are on there, chacked both BTS & ATS.

Maybe it takes awhile? Or maybe after I log out & log back on?

No, I think it's just another glitch. Don't fret over it too much, too many other things to do on this site.
