The more I hear about this the more I am excited about ATSMIX. Now a while back I heard tell and saw a little clip about a youtube like upload thing for ATS.

Is that still in the works? Cause I was planning on travailing around with a video camera and making a complete ass out of myself. (hence the nifty signature)

34 days eh wow thats alot of preparation. Cant wait to see what they are doing specially with the paris hilton part???..??? I don't know if thats going to be part of it or not,but it sounds interesting.

2 shows a week? I wonder how long each show will be,and if there is some coverage on the site does this mean no more two out of three and skeptic overviews? I'm sure that will leviate some pressure from you guys.!

Springer, you need to call the "New AT&T" pronto and secure 1-800-CALL-ATS for your radio phone-ins!

You know, you could also take advantage of free VOIP software like TeamSpeak, etc. to support live two-way communication between the show and ATS members. I believe nowadays, you can even embed a TeamSpeak client into a webpage. Would be a nice way to support live communication to the show via the ATS page, without having to pay AT&T for a 800 number. That reduces cost, outside reliance, and squeezes a little ROI from your existing infrastructure.

TeamSpeak is just one example - there are a handful of other things just like it out there that are also free. The technology involved really isn't that difficult to develop either, so the custom route is also available. And you know the old IT phrase, "Bandwidth is Money"? Luckily this kind of VOIP audio stream (regardless of the platform) doesn't need fat pipes to flow through. You can do it around 5-10kbps and still sound great.

I'm sure you guys have already thought down this direction; you three are always so thorough and on point with your projects. I just thought I would mention it to get your reaction and see what you guys may have already come up with.


I believe Springer was just exaggerating how hard they have been working on this. It's kinda like saying, "I've been working 8 days a week on this!" I'm pretty sure he didn't mean that it will be up and running in exactly 34 days.


Yeah I was confused by that as well. Paris Hilton certainly isn't a Conspiracy & Alternative topic. Probably just another colorful phrase not intended to be literal.


The shows are going to be 2 hours long, from what I have read.


No doubt, our amigos are busy guys! But you know them - they love to be involved and have their own voice - I'm sure we haven't heard the last of their podcasts and special forums, etc. Sure, their podcasts, etc., may become less frequent, but we are bound to be hearing even more from the ATS Trio via ATSMIX.

ATSMIX is likely to become the lifeblood of the site; the vein through which everyone keeps up-to-date, and the voicing platform for Staff and Members alike.

Yes it is sounding more like it will be something else.I missed the 34 hour part,thought he said 34 days.

And yeah johnny was asking the casters to help him with 15 second clips about paris hilton going to jail.

Now i know johnnys stuff and that alone was a request to urk interest specially since it wasnt a regular ats topic.

I hope they will be reporting news from other quality sites (www.infowars.com... www.rinf.com... www.davidicke.com... www.globalresearch.ca... etc etc) you can't really go 5 mins in alt news or conspracy land before they pop up.

We'll certainly be focusing on much the same topics, and likely interviewing the newsmakers that hit such sites.

But we're constantly aware that sites like the ones you mentioned are driven by the agendas of the owners and/or main personality. Our agenda is our members, and that will be reflected in what the show covers.

Yes. In fact I have a meeting today with a provider of content that will help kick-off our video service.

I think I predicted ATS becoming bigger than MySpace and Yahoo and Google a while back and it looks like I might have been right about that. This site just keeps getting better and better all the time. It's amazing what in the little time I have been here this site has done.

I can't wait to hear what Dave & Johnny have put together. This is going to be awesome.

I'm telling ya, that would be THE stock to buy the second it came on the market. I am sure a return on your investment would be well worth the initial investment.

Course I wouldn't want to pay the couple million it would cost to get an IPO

Now I think that their advertising revenue should go way up from this new ATSMIX franchise. I bet the Amigos are excited about that.

Sure then we could pay for the long needed server upgrades and:

- get member blogs back
- host more podcasts
- host videos better
- and allow more features for members

So in the end...it's all about you ya greedy buggers.

I'm likin' this one a lot. And are we greedy? Um.. ok... yeah, I guess we are. But the Amigos just keep giving and giving so we've gotten spoiled (not that I'm complaining though - everything is very much appreciated!!!!!!)

Well, my first segment for the show is in the can. I'm just having some issues getting it over to Johnny and Dave.

Hopefully we can get this stuff situated.

Let me tell you, based on who they said is doing the post production on this, and the tools they're going to be using, you will be VERY impressed by the finished product.

This is not a simple podcast...this is a professionally produced audio program who's outlet happens to be the internet.

I'm stoked...and I don't even use that word.
