George W Bush: Last President Of The United States Of America ?

Of course Bush isn't going to be the last president.
That would only make people panic...and when people panic things get out of control.
If there is going to be a NWO, I imagine it will be implemented as quietly and gradually as possible, with lots of breaking news coverage of Paris Hilton to divert our attention.

For hat it's worth, I think that the next President...whoever that turns out to be, will face the very real temptaiton of total power. In spite of all he has done, I'm not so sure that Mr. Bush is in a position to take advantage ofwhat he has wroght. That may well fall to brighter minds than his own to exploit. Even so, we'll have no choice but to expect that a futufure U.S. President may...do stuff that we don't agree with.

You just read the script synopsis for Neon Genesis Evangelion! Man, that series is a masterful presentation. Even if you hate anime, you should give 18 hours of your life to seeing it all. I guarantee it will force you to think about things you haven;t thought about yet.

I made a little AMV (Anime Music Video) for the series using Tool's "Schism". It's posted up over on YouTube. Got a copy on Stage6 too in DivX format, but the DivX re-encode slowed the timecode down a little.

This is precisely why things ARE going to happen because we're too lazy and too busy with our own daily lives to dare do anything. The government knows just how easy it is to manipulate and take away freedoms, change everything up to and including a dictatorship. Its too bad for us, really, that the masses dont hit the streets, by the millions, and take action- action which may just save us in the end. Its really too late now.
We wait for that fateful day when Marshall law goes into effect and Bush will become "The Dictator" instead of "The Decider". When he calls himself the decider, you should read between the lines.

In any case, this is a very serious subject that i do not take lightly and neither should anyone else here.

Americans failed to see what was coming. Now we must deal with the consequences. It wont be easy. I for one think Bush will remain "president" indefinatly.

Europeans hate Bush. There's no chance the EU and US will becoming allied under Blair/Bush against the East.

It is far easier and safer for "them" to maintain the illusion of a democracy and continue to hold elections.

nobody will do anything in this country (US) until something makes us uncomfortable. if bush becomes "king george" and doesn't leave office who will stand up against him? as long as people can still download songs and surf the web while ordering a big mac from their suv, nobody will start a revolution.

we've had 2 stolen elections. we've had/got a war built on lies. we've had a hurricane disaster dismissed. i'm sure we can come up with other evils but the point is, we've all done nothing. what does it take?

Nice theory but I'm betting that in a a year and a half when Bush leaves office and a new President takes power, this will go into the pile of "theories that bore no fruit" with the rest of 'em.

Hello everyone and i hope health is with you all. I dont agree with everything that is going on, but i have to wonder how humanity can evolve furthur if we continue to be separated by core beliefs such as religion, government and the basic differences we see all over the world. The NWO or should I say the elite on earth will try and put everyone under thier thumb for thier own personal gain.

But how could a one world government hurt humanity? I dont think it would if the core principles of good over evil are kept in line. Freedom to choose is really the only thing we need to keep pure. We still need a police force, military and the such becasue if there are aliens out there then there has to be good ones and bad ones, so we still need to be able to protect our planet. But if we dont evolve to a one world government then we can be sure that no good race of aliens would embrace our spiecies unless we were united as one group. Frankly they are prob scare to death of us.

However if the current NWO is allowed to push thier agenda and taking away our freedom to chose is one of the after products then I say we do need to fight them.

But dont be against something unless you are sure its not in the speices best interest.

Heck the major world leaders may have already been told by some race of aliens that they wont help us unless we are at peace with each other. Tough one to call i think. I want to believe humans will one day be at peace with each other and fighting along side good races of aliens and not lunch for the bad ones.

A one world government can be bad for us if it supresses what we consider to be our way of life. If, for example, a one world government adopts non-democratic principles...you may find a lot of Americans against it.

I myself am not so sure thet Mr. Bush will be the ruling dictator that some here suggest, but I am worried that the next President and the administrations that follow will be placed in that position by accident...or...by design. If a President wanted to stay in office, it would be not be hard to "arrange."

It is my opinion that a President would need some combination of high domestic popularity and domestic crisis in order to 'facilitate' a permanent stay in office. Under those conditions, it would be plausible to manipulate national emergency and CoG protocols. Anyone who does try to stay in office will do so with an eye towards public opinion and certain quasi-legalities. Knowing that a take-over by force of arms would result in a revolt, they'll opt for softer means. Why take what people might be willing to give...under the right circumstances.

You've already started down that dark path...I mean...Pathway to Good Civics. You're on ATS, and you're talking with people who want some of what you want. a) Talk to the people who think like you do on ATS. b) Talk with them off-site.

I dont know why but I feel compelled to give all I can to this issue. I know that I am a very good writer and I have excellent people/social skills when it comes down to it (not to toot my own horn). Its only that I feel as though these attribute of mine could be used in this time of need. And, I want to use what I have for the promotion of 'good' rather than the promotion of myself (which has been far too often)
