Okay...I may have taken Zion Mainframe's post out of context...maybe not...

But there will be no more posting news in the normal forums anymore? They all have to go to ATSNN now? I'm confused. Because that's just stupid. I mean people should be allowed to post News or stuff in the forums that the news is apart of...

And what about the News articles that have already been posted in the forums before the creation of ATSNN? Will they be moved? Or will they stay where they are?

And what I don't get is that there might be a drop off in posting in other forums. Because most people were posting news and stuff. and that was the majority of the posts in the forums.

This site has just gotten way to confusing since the opening of the news network....I'm not cussing out the admins or Simon for creating ATSNN...it's just that it gets confusing sometimes...so will some one please exsplane!

The news site, www.atsnn.com..., is intended for breaking news. Any member can submit news by using the form in your member center... thread on this here: www.abovetopsecret.com... So if you're seeing something in the news breaking the same day use the form to post it to the news site. If you're finding something we haven't covered in the news website, but isn't breaking news... it's fine to post it in the forums. I just posted a bit about the Virginia Tech Super-Computer in the Science & Technology forum... it's not current, but it's still news to some extent. Our ATSNN.com forum and www.atsnn.com... website are intended to be a new higher-profile news portal/site for our members to contribute to. We've started with a few members assigned as reporters, and will likely invite more as we keep moving forward. But of all the news submitted by our regular members, about 80% have been accepted. Ultimately, we hope ATSNN.com becomes our collective voice on breaking news. [Edited on 7-1-2004 by SkepticOverlord]

Why is that? Where were you expecting it to go?
