hahaha

fox news is the last -nearly- unbiased news source. by unbiased i mean unbiased towards political views, and also probably the least controlled of the major media outlets. get the out of ats if you dont like it.

In the American Media thread going on today, we've been discussing alternate media, etc.

While Fox is still rather mainstream, it's far more "fair and balanced" than the other American news channels. Fox's ratings are though the roof because people want alternatives to the tripe being peddled on CNN/NBC/ABC/CBS/BBC etc. Fox definately has its flaws, but if i'm forced to watch tv for my news, Fox News is the only one I can consume without puking up my lunch.

People are turning to alternative media, and the traditional media is throwing fits. Fortunately, with the Internet and a million cable channels, we can access it easier. I'm waiting for the anti-establishment version of Reuters though... once that happens, the real news can experienced by the masses.

What are you talking about???

Death to the evil-doers!
Long live Bush!
Bush in 2004!!!

NOT!!!

Just the opposite, I'd say the majority here think Bush is a boob, and an embarassment to our nation... Though there are a few avid right-wingers....even they aren't ones to take FOX news for granted...so I'm truly puzzled as to whom you're referring to...

Many popular forums are infested with disinfo agents. Whether they are merely mind controlled drones or actually paid to confuse is beyond me.

FAUX news and most U.S. media basically shows what TPTB want you to see.

Notice not much is shown on how many US servicemen die everyday? No footage of bodybags allowed, no footage of the real horrors of the unjustified war and invasion that our corrupt govt and GB launched.

TV News is filled with Michael Jackson, Martha Stewart, Kobe Bryant... but what about Enron - Ken Lay, World Com?

What about the lies spoon fed to the American people that led us to war?

ABCCNNBCBS, basically ALL show the same BS.

I watch O'Reilly on occasion just in the hopes to see if he'll try and catch a fly with his tongue.

Anti-big government works for me. Conservativism is supposed to be anti-big government. Bush screwed that up nicely.

I've always thought there was a high quanity of chomsky-ites here myself, what gives?
LOL

But, even if it's in a 'know your enemy' scenario, shouldn't you get news from Fox in addition to the other sources? Being so quick to throw out one source is just as ignorant as limiting yourself to just Fox, or any other single news source, don't you think?

I think the balance is just right when both sides think they are the minority.

with one press of a button, i can watch cnn, and then another i can move back to fox. comparing the info i get from each, its easy (for me, perhaps not you) to see that fox is by far the lesser of the two evils. a man is only as wise as his sources.

ManCow Is COOL
Paula Zahn is HOTT (yes, even with the braces)
Can't remember the MSNBC girls name but she is hot too.....

I don't watch the Netwerk News unless it's breaking coverage with video...
I like Drudge Report and a few others...
I use to be an avid Rense reader, but lately
Why would someone watch only one news source?
Scan them all, read all the takes, then come up with your own conclusion on the subject.
