While I havent watched her in some time ..is Greta still going on about that girl missing in Aruba??? This is one of the reasons I dont like Greta..or Geraldo. I am not intrested in these two twanging my heart strings. Nor anyone else for that matter.

Its probably sitting in the bathroom being used as toilet paper at Fox News or one of the other corporate media outlets.

This is the exact reason I quit watching corporate media and started looking at alternative media sources.

I disagree..once again..it is not sad...it is beyond sad ..into sick.

However I would also like to post something about non capitalistic news formats..they too can be just as sick and in the jerk off format. I dont trust them either. They both can be con jobs, lying and deceiving. History is replete with this knowlege and awareness.

It is just a matter of who would you like jerking you off in news formats...the capitalists or the non capitalists....they will both jerk you off on the news format and content. Pardon the crudity but the news formats deserve it from my corner of the world.

I agree with the premise of the posters here about the bulk of what passes for media attention and am insulted by most of it..including much of Fox. Its sick..almost beyond redeeming.

I get alot of my news and and info from this computer anymore and choose how and when I will digest it for my own reasons. I am often insulted by being jerked around by the bulk of television news formats no matter who is presenting the news. Same jerk off format on the radio bands as is on television. So many of these guys are like a xerox machine..watch one and you are watching 50 xerox copies of the same drivel stories.

Well, even if the guy made a sexual advance toward the murderers, that wouldn't be a defense for murder. Maybe a punch in the jibs.

The part I can't believe is that the body was found in the coroner's garage and no one's talking about that.

I'm so sick of hearing about Paris Hilton and Anna Nicole Smith that I'm seriously thinking about disconnecting my cable.

I'm mostly interested in news and sports and if the news is going to be mostly about bimbos, then I'm not interested.

I called the other day to have the TV part of the cable disconnected and when I mentioned that after a few months I might have it reconnected, they offered me $15 a month off my bill for six months, so I took it.

We'll see how I feel about it in December.

Bottom line the victim in this sick crime isn't a pretty young girl or a blond bimbo star wanna be. He was a small homosexual male who wasn't rich and famous. The two perps should be tried on aggravated 1st degree murder. I hope and pray that no jury would believe that the victim would cause a feeling of panic in 2 healthy young males.

It's time and past that people get over their fear of people who might be different then they. Guess what we are all different from one another and thank goodness for that.

You are correct there should be an outcry of disgust about this crime. How sad that it won't happen.

Let face it, the corporate media 6 o’clock ½ hour news after advertising is whittled down to 20 mins, 5 minutes dedicated to sport, 5 minutes to local government issues, 3 minutes to federal government issues, 5 minutes to celebrity news and 2 minutes for the final “feel good” story (you know, like the dog that thinks it’s a pig or something).

So where on earth are they going to have time to air real news worthy stories? But don’t forget, it’s the sponsors that determine news content – not the editor.

The current justice system merely teaches an eye for an eye. I'd rather teach these young men why what they did was wrong and turn them into people who can do good for society then be "disgusted" and try to seek retribution. That's all that the justice system does, it exacts revenge. It doesn't teach the criminals these things are wrong, the criminals often come out worse then when they went in. To future criminals who want to commit crimes? They don't have any more feeling for the people they may intend to harm, they only realize that they are at risk if they try to commit crimes. All that teaches is for them to look out even further for themselves, not for anybody else. So they make sure they don't get caught doing the crime, or make sure they have friends in high places who can get them out of being punished for the crime.

That's the other part of the justice system that makes the whole thing worthless. The double standards. Guilty men walk free, innocent men get convicted. A person's freedom is turned into a game that can be
"won" or "lost" by corrupt lawyers, who get paid to "win" or "lose", not do what's right.

I'd rather the news cover Paris Hilton than this story, all the news would do is continue to back this garbage justice system and how these men should be hung for such an act. No one wants to help them, no one wants to turn the other cheek.

i'm sure the victim would have been treated differently had he been a straight woman.

I would agree that the treatment this man received was brutal and sick, and that they should be punished. That's where my agreement ends though. I'm against the notion of hate crimes. Committing a violent crime against another personal is by its very definition- hateful. I don't believe that any one group should receive special status, so that if a crime is committed against them, the punishment is more severe. That amounts to some people being more equal under the law than others. I personally couldn't care if the attackers here were homophobic or not. The point is that they did kill somebody, and that's what they should be punished for, and not their social views. I'd like to see any evidence whatsoever that a violent criminal likes any type of victim they attack. It just doesn't make any sense that how the criminal felt about the victim personally should have any bearing whatsoever.
I'm also not getting the question- where's the outrage? The outrage that a killing occurred? Or the outrage that the victim was gay?
