hayfever!!!

Feel free to move this into rant mods.

HAYFEVER!!! I absotively fraggin hate it! The sneezing, the sore nose and eyes, the inability to speak properly..... WHY'S THERE NO CURE!!!

Do any of you have suggestions on food which can help the congestion, etc...

And if anyone else says 'Use anti-histamines' I'm gonna explode! I'm taking up to four a day with no effect.

I've heard that if you start eating locally produced, raw honey before pollen season gets under way, you can get your immune system used to the local pollens.

And, gesundheit.

I was miserable too until I discovered ........

NeilMed Sinus Rinse. I got my $9.00 set up at Walgreens but I'm sure it's available at most drug stores.

My life in worth living again.

In the beginning of the process, it's gross but well worth the effort. And I haven't had to take any hayfever medication all spring.

I use the squeeze bottle and saline packets; not the neti pot.

This Is sort of a testimonial; as of now I don't have allegerys and earlier
this Spring, I couldn't even function in a normal manner.

I never had any allergies until I turned about 20. Bad hay fever ever since. I use a generic tablet (might be the Claritin generic) that I get at the drug store cheap. I take one a day and they pretty much wipe out hay fever symptoms, no drowsiness. A saline spray at night helps me, too.
