You can't beat homemade pie of any variety, especially if I'm the one who made it.

Blueberry is my favorite, but I'm happy with any of the fruits, provided they don't have a lot of large seeds, like blackberries.
Mincemeat...eh...I don't know how anyone can eat that. One bite and I feel a trip to the dentist coming on. Waaay too sweet.
The title of 'worst pie ever', though, goes to....Sour cream and raisin.
Apparently it's Norwegian, which isn't too surprising given their proclivity for disagreeable foods.
Lutefisk, anyone?

I just invented/made a new style of pie.

First I crumbled up 1 day old breakfast waffles into a bowl [3 big ones]
next add one cup of vanilla yogurt
next add one cup chocolate pudding [more yogurt may be used as a subsitution]
stir well with a wooden spoon.
lick spoon
Pour mixture into a commercial pie shell
chill in the fridge for 2 hrs and 16 min.
sprinkle a handful of M&Ms on top or for the creative types
design a mosiac depecting the liberation of Panama

cut and serve

Toppings.....be creative.......I used cheddar cheese

Apple pie is always good.

However, the world's best pie is Peach/Blueberry. It's my daughter's favorite too. I freeze peaches and blueberries during the summer and we have it for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yummy.

Thanks Intrepid now I'll have to make a pie tomorrow.

Definitely have to make my brother an apple pie before he deploys; that's what he loves. He used to peel and slice the apples so I would make him one.

How could I forget Huckleberry pie also yummy.

You're not done yet...you still need to come up with a name for it!

I'm never going to try making or eating that, by the way, I like my food to stay where it's supposed to.

Oh crap - here I was just thinking "man, I have to go on a diet" and then I run across this darn thread and found myself helplessly printing out the french silk recipe.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned pumpkin pie!! That's my all-time favorite!

Normally good Dr., that would be correctomundo; but this masterpiece is being designed with the "real man" such as myself; in mind.

This "Breakfast Pie" will have as it's center piece, MEAT. This pie will be especially for the MAN that fears no pie.

I must rest now! Pie designing is hard work and when I go into the food preparing place, I want to be sharp, well rested and at the top of my form.

Please be patient; art cannot be hurried!!!!

Gee what is wrong with you people ? :shk::shk: LOL
If you want a pie its got have meat in it my favourite would have to be a potato top pie followed closely by a chicken pie . Apple pie is extremely yummy but it doesn't belong in the same family as the true blue meat pie.
