Apparently, mission control informed astronaut Michael Foale and cosmonaut Alexander Kaleri about said leak right before they were to going to sleep.
 

They had gone on to do check of their own after mission control rold them not to worry. They searched both sides, yet apparently, found nothing wrong.

"As of Monday, the pressure had declined a total of nine millimeters over five days. That is equivalent to about one-fifth of a pound per square inch" NASA spokesman James Hartsfield said.
