AMD has just released the newest version of its 64bit CPU Family. The Athlon 64 3400+ clocked at 2.2Ghz, and based on the 754 pin package, is one of the fastest processors on the planet.

"Advanced Micro Devices today introduced its AMD Athlon 64 3400+ microprocessor for desktop and desktop replacement personal computers. The chip itself is among the fastest CPUs in the world and is available immediately from Sunnyvale, California-based chipmaker as well as from leading system OEMs on the planet."

I want to buy a new computer, but trying to wait til 64 bit OS comes out for it. then the 64 bit games

Yeah. The 3000+ and 3200+ prices have gone down since the release of the 3400.

Whatever, Apple will soon release 2.6 GHz G5 (thats higher clock than this Athlon) which will own anything running beautiful Mac OS X Panther.
Windows just aren't worth of any of these fast processors.

Step 1: Find loaded revolver.
Step 2: Place pistol barrel in mouth.
Step 3: Pull trigger.
