Who Is Your Favorite Rock Band?

Hey Guys,

Just thought I'de make up a post on your favorite band... So here goes... "What is your favorite band" and "your favorite CD from that band" and "the bands website"

Ok so here goes,,

My favorite band would have to be Puddle of Mudd, I just love their style and the lyrics they are amazing... Now my favorite Cd from the band would have to be LIFE ON DISPLAY it's the newest album it came out in november so it's at stores now to pick up and check out, it rocks... Now the bands website is www.puddleofmudd.com it has got to be one of the best official websites for a band out their... b/c they always update it very often and there are many clips and stuff to check out... Now what do you guys think of them? Any other POM fans here?

Favorite Rock Band? I guess if I had to pick just one it would be 311.

I don't listen to that much rock so, I'd say the Scorpions. They kick ass.

I listen mostly to Punk, Real Punk. Not that bubblegum # on the radio and MTV. My favorite band in that genre is The Descendents. The revolutionized the sound of punk. Fave album: Bonus Fat
I also dig TheDead Milkmen. Fave album from them: Beelzebubba

I can't pick one fav to cover all of rock. For best classic Rock overall I'd have to say Eagles, though I would prefer Steve Miller Band personally (more like classic rock artist).

But the rock topic is wide open. For HARD rock, AC/DC. For HAIR rock probably Bon Jovi. Argument's could be made for Rock artist (Elvis), MOD rock (The WHO) POP rock (Beatles), Metal (Iron Maiden) and PUNK rock (Damned), but then I would have too many favorites.

Best Bubble Gum Punk Rock = Zu's Zu's Petals (Chick bands kick azz) And their CD "When noones looking" remains one of my favs. Minneapolis band founded by Prince to be an all girl version of The Replacements.

But like Nottoohappy, I prefer punk of the 70's and 80's to anything else.

No, not Limbaugh, and no, I'm not Canadian. I just think they are awesome. I've always loved RUSH. Geddy Lee's vocals, Neil Peart on drums, and Alex Lifeson on guitar. A perfect power trio !!!

I second that, even more so new Metallica...

I like Marilyn Manson, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, AC/DC (late 70's and Back in Black), and Pink Floyd.

You sir have good tastes. I am not an AC/DC fan, but I like everything else you listed.
