I have 2 reports. One from my childhood, that I was unable to report at the time, since the "net" did not exist, and one just last week. The new report is second on this page.

Date of sighting? 1980-something

Time of sighting (include time zone, am or pm)? Between midnight and 6 AM

How long did the sighting last? About 5 minutes.

City, state of sighting (or nation, province, etc.)? Maysville, Georgia, USA

How many other witnesses? Just me.

Just lights, or shape discernable? Triangle of lights.

Color of lights and/or object/s? Lights were white. Glowing, no flashing.

Number of lights and/or objects? Just one triangle shape of lights.

Apparent altitude? Cannot say. Maybe a few hundred feet? Just over the treetops of tall pines.

Direction of travel? Hovering.

Apparent brightness? VERY.

Path of travel (straight, curved, etc.)? Stationary. When it left, it turned in a 180 degree angle and traveled from East to Southwest.

Any pictures or video? No.

Any sound? None.

Any aircraft around? None.

[color=Red] Now on to the recent one. The first one was so exciting/amazing, and cannot be written off as a "weather balloon" or a regular aircraft, but people may not believe this, because it happened so long ago. Now on to the one from last Thursday. [/color]

Time of sighting (include time zone, am or pm)? 4:45 AM Eastern Daylight time.

How long did the sighting last? Maybe 3 minutes.

City, state of sighting (or nation, province, etc.)? Commerce, Georgia, USA

How many other witnesses? No

Just lights, or shape discernable? Just one bright light.

Color of lights and/or object/s? White

Number of lights and/or objects? One

Apparent altitude? Cannot say.

Direction of travel? Just hovering, then vanished. Was in the eastern sky when spotted.

Apparent brightness? Brighter than a planet. About as bright as the light on a helicopter.

Path of travel (straight, curved, etc.)? Cannot say. It was there, then looked like it just winked out. It might have been a chopper, but why was there no sound or any more than the one light?

Any pictures or video? No.

Any sound? None.

Any aircraft around? I'd seen a regular jet traveling at normal altitude about 10 minutes earlier, but in the west. Very high. This was NOT very high at all.
