alien technologies was founded in the mid 50's by a group of travellers from the planet quarak. They have brought their tech here and they sell it to the gov't and and big corporations that want to get ahead of their competition, the quarakian way.


it's just a name. a funny one for the business they are in but that's all it is. if it was anything else, they'd be total morons to use that name unless they were trying to hide in plain sight.

I'm pretty sure it's for short-range tracking. Nothing really special.
