WASHINGTON - A broad immigration bill to legalize millions of people in the U.S. unlawfully failed a crucial test vote Thursday, a stunning setback that could spell its defeat for the year.

The sharply divided Senate refused to limit debate on the fragile compromise hammered out by a bipartisan group of senators and the White House. As a result, the legislation will be set aside and the Senate is expected to move on to other matters.

This is good news. The voice of the people has been heard this time. This was an extremely bad bill, and a bad bill is not better than no bill.

Yeah and while they move on to other business another million will slip over the borders.

I watched part of the hearings today and it just made me mad, they all sat or stood their blaming the other side or past presidents in one case with Kennedy, pathedic is what it was.


I wonder if this Youtube video had anything to do with this
