Look at the title of the video, "SOHO observations of the Sun's outer atmosphere".

Those images are of the "outer atmosphere" of the Sun, if anything abnormal is happening it is happening in the outer atmosphere, not inside the Sun itself.

And this images are from the year 2000, I don't know what has happened since then, but I am sure of just one thing, the Sun did not fracture.

yeah i also thought of a timely event but in the pic it looks like it splits to the core.
