June 22 - 'Take Your Dog to Work Day'

June 22nd is 'National Take Your Dog To Work Day'.

Yes .. really it is.

This is the 9th National Take Your Dog to Work Day. It works just like 'Take Your Daughter To Work Day'. You get permission from the place of employment and have your dog with you at work all day.

I think it's supposed to bring attention to treating animals better ...

But whatever ... Just thought ya'll would find this interesting.

My husband (Bad Dog) won't be taking our beagle to work. She has that howl that hound dogs have ... and it wouldn't be cool to have her yowling at work.

I take my dogs to work every day! All day!

This is cool, though. It almost makes me wish I had a job somewhere... Almost.

Yeah that'd go over like the proverbial lead balloon here. I'd bring in my 3 yr old blue tick beagle and within an hour we'd both be out on our velvety soft ears.

Which come to think of it...

Hmmmmmm....... I don't think that it would be a very good idea for me to bring my dog Yabaastad to work. I'd always have to be yellin' "Sit down Yabaastad" or "Stop chewin' on that Yabaastad" and I don't think my boss would be likin' that and stuff.
