This story broke on CNN around 5 pm C.T. surprisingly there has been little coverage on this event, my guess being that since we dropped bombs on
Somalia a 2-3 weeks ago it is not a new story.
It is surprising however that the Navy chose to use 5 inch guns to take out something the size of a normal vehicle, as this sort of round is
typically used for something much larger and one would think we would use laser guided or other precision targeting systems to minimize the risk of
civilian casualties.
