After invading a country for gain of a nation and cliaming that, I quote, "to protect that countrie's freedom and independence" was the reason for an invasion. You could place this in quotations over eaither man's head George W. Bush or Adolf Hitler.

It is acutally a qoute I found while doing reasearch for a piece on Hitler for school. It is his explianation for the invasion of Poland, could it also be a reason to invade Iraq.

Just some scary thoughts.........

What can I say, you hit the nail right on the head and it hurt. The correlation between our government and that of the Third Reich is unsettling, and startlingly similar. Mass murder seems common in both, deception, being secretive, hiding information, lying, using political terms and fake excuses to wage war (your example).... and the list goes on.

"We have made endless attempts to solve all issues of war when it comes to this conflict. More loyal or modest proposals that the ones we have presented does not exist. This war will not be led against women and children, only military targets. Our goal is to solve or delimit the problems, so that a lasting change, making a peaceful coexistence possible can occur"

I translated the quote from Norwegian to English, so it might differ a bit from other English versions of the same quote. I have checked numerous other sources to make sure the content of the quote is accurate according to the original.

This quote was read to a class of students by a professor in Norway. He asked the students who they though spoke the words. 90% of the class though it was George W. Bush.

The quote is from a speech Adolf Hitler gave before invading Polen in 1939

Scary, yes indeed.

Just thought the quote might be of interest to you.

That is very interesting, upon reading it I also thought it was GWBush, or at least a former American President that said it.

yes there are too many "coincidence" and similarlities between G W Bush and Hitler's war. I'm really beginning to wonder, no abit worry.

Get rid of Bush and then let the socialists take over everyone.

We'll see how happy you are then.

Nice of your left wing teachers to keep pumping you on this though.

Well I haven't heard anyone on this thread claim to be left wing, assuming again are we?
They could just be like you and me, believing all government is corrupt, and that so far Dubya and his cronies are the worst of the lot.

I don't get you. You seem to have the same beliefs as me, in that it doesn't matter who's in office they are all controlled by the same industrialist scumbags anyway. Yet you also claim to right-wing and fight their corner to the hilt.
I guess my question is this, how can you be a believer of a political structure that you've never actually seen in action? We are both in agreement that all these parties take their orders from the same people and they look after their own interests, not anyone elses, so we've never actually seen these political structures in action to comment on them.
Does that make sense to you? There's no way we could make a judgement on either side because we've never seen it.

It is very simple the people that control the political system control all the politicians. They have limited freedom:

THUS MEANING THEY ARE ALL THE SAME.

but get this:

the US is a two party system right?

one side is more socialistic and the other more capitalistic? Right?

you can play the system a bit to your advantage because there is such a thing as timing...

which philosophy is better than the other at any given time..,

besides if you people are so desparate for change then why did none of you reply to my thread about how to fight the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers then?

if you want to do something then DO SOMETHING!

Yeah, cuz the Arabs are all in concentration camps building our weapons of war and being gassed...

Oh, wait, they aren't. And we're massacreing the Iraqis instead of rebuilding their nation...Oh, wait, we aren't.

I am doing something, I question every move the government make because I know they don't act in our interests. You don't have a problem with this yet seem to take exception when it's YOUR right wing buddies.

That doesn't make any sense to me...oh...and you didn't really answer my first question in the first place. From what you said about the parties being able to use their politics partially, it sounds to me like it's you who is compramising by picking sides when we know both sides are sh*t, so I guess you should DO SOMETHING and get on the right team, instead of sticking up for a belief structure that doesn't really exist.

Oh...and I didn't reply to that particular thread because if it's people like you who are going to spear head this we don't stand a chance.

Have a nice day.

You don't understand that each side has their good points and bad points vis a vis any given political viewpoint or needs or anytime or era.

For example human rights and political correctism has been done to the hilts, we don't need more.

On the other hand if this world is running into problems bigger than any country's ability to deal with it then I like the idea of a government that at least pays lip service to religion.

This is complex stuff not everyone can understand it.

But everyone does have a vote and a right to do what they want with it.

It is better to vote than not vote even if the system is controlled.

But if you really want change then start exposing the real problem and start fighting it because there are limits to what you can do in politics.

Remember if you force one out or annother they have them lined up to just jump in there. This is what has turned off most people from politics over time and yet they cannot make the connection whereby politicians are dummies at the end of strings. The people at the top laugh everyday at the rest of the people below them.

It's just missing the national daily-fitness-workout and the camps where all parents send their kids in to get drilled.

Oh #. It ain't
- flag and enemy changed, that's all. And if the world wouldn't watch to Guantanamo they would burn them to get infos.

i'd like just to point out something, before the Nazi's war started, Hitler had way before that already started tagging and profiling all the gays, jews, the Nazis knew exactly who they were where they lived. so when the war started it was a matter of going and getting them.

and now the US. is convieniently using the "anti-terrorrists" to profle on the "potentail-terrorists" (= most muslim living in the United State) are automaticlly qualify. and above all now they've introduced the finger print and photo taken upon arriving in the US.

ammmmm are we seeing some kind of pattern re-occuring here?
