C2C is a joke.
It's also a joke that 80% of people on these boards believe them.
Just look at what people wrote in the C2C drone topics.

Sounds more to me like someones just out there to dis art bell.

As long as everyone is just voicing their opinions about the show, the times I've heard it have been entertaining, just like Car Talk. I might accidentally learn something about cars by listening to Click and Clack, but most of it is just their interactions between themselves and their guests.

I've got a lot better things to do at that time of night than listen to endless hours of Art Bell. I wonder what percentage of the listeners to that show sleep alone.

With out Art Bell.....there would be so much less interest in many of the topics we talk about. He is a radio master and has done many GOOD things for the realm of Esoterica. He is exactly the open minded person with a microphone willing to talk about the things many of you want discussed in the MSM yet you guys blast him for doing so?

I've listened to the show since it started. Here's what the show isn't: predictable. 30% is crap, 50% is paranormal, and 20% is actually smarter than what you would get from a college graduate course. C2C is going to give you the info that no other media outlet, other than the internet will...that's why they are successful.

The show deserves to be criticized at times...they get too caught up in promoting frauds just to be entertaining. This drone business is to me the "crap" that stirs up interest in the show short term, but hurts long term. Reminds me of the dead alien that Jonathan Reed tried pushing 10 years ago.

The plus side is that subjects like remote viewing (which I've tried and truly had some amazing results with), string theory, non-local consciousness, cosmology, terrorist activity, aircraft technology, and many other very interesting subjects have found a platform that allows them to enter into our society's knowledge that never would have.

The other thing working in their favor is that eventually some of the C2C "subjects" have to come true. We will meet aliens, we will colonize other planets, we will see more terrorist attacks, global warming is happening, the sun is going to be more active around 2012 according to scientists, we will have diseases impervious to antibiotics, we will create genetic alterations to ourselves and probably bring into being the creatures of myth. People know that, so the "weird" is "reality" 5-50 years down the road, might as well find out more on C2C...it's a window into our future.

My biggest disappointment so far is that ATS is not more active on C2C...this really is a place that compliments the show (and surpasses it). I'd rather hear an hour of ATS stuff on Friday night than some of the unstable callers that phone in (is it just me or do a lot of the older women sound like they're calling in between packs of cigarettes?).
