NEW AIM VIRUS! **BEWARE!**

I just encounter another one of the many AIM viruses out there. This one disguises itself under a jolly "HAPPY HOLIDAY!" theme in people's buddy info.

I went to my friend's info and it said...

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!
New Years 2003 Partayy! (This was a link)

SO PLEASE BEWARE AND DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK!

Luckily, my virus scanner (AntiVir Personal Edition) picked it up and i was able to delete.

You don't need to have AOL to have AIM...

This is a warning to all AOL Instant Messenger users. Whether or not you use AOL is not important.

I use NetZero and have AIM.

So just please be careful. It's a jungle out there.

I dont know how to use AOL anyway but thanx 4 the warning.

I already know that mike, I said that cuz I don't use AIM neither (AOL proprietary software BTW..)

Edit: About your sig, they're about to drop (or already did?) Windows 98 too.
