Rishu awoke from a deep fitful sleep upon a tear stained pillow. Still crying so hard and repeating his name, Z! Z please don't go! Come back, take me with you!. Crying not only from her eyes but seemingly from every pore in her being.
Realizing the dream was over she pressed her eyes with the palms of her hands hoping to descend once again into the state that was impossible to re-enter.
The alarm clock went off and without opening her eyes she reached over and shut off the voice of Art Bell questioning a late night caller about a fleet of UFO's he had witnessed earlier that evening in Laguna Beach.
Stepping out of the shower still crying so hard her sides ached, Rishu reached for her towels, wrapping one around her head and the other her body, she made her way to the kitchen where the first golden rays of morning light shone softly thru the slightly tattered bamboo shades.
After turning on the burner to heat the water in the teapot, she turned and headed back to bed, back to last place she felt the loving embrace of her beloved Commander Z.
Not even stopping to consider for an instant if it was real or imagined, she tried to recall how it had all began. The first question was not actually 'how' but when did it all begin?
At 3 years old the dreams had begun and with them the abilities. The dream was always the same, secure, expected and most of all very fun.
The dream was always in a park filled with rides. But she and her 5 little friends always preferred to meet at the merry go round. It could spin on its own and she loved being able to communicate with her friends without voices. It went much deeper and had so much more expression, when you could sense and be sensed. It was always incredibly sad when the dream ended, but they always promised to return. And they did.
The first ability appeared when after her parents had divorced and her Mother took her 3 miles away to stay with her Dad and step mom for the first time.
They put her to bed at 7pm. and by 8pm she was knocking at her Mom's screen door. How she found her way home after only one trip to her fathers house and in only 1 hour, is a question that would never be answered.
As she grew older her friends also grew up. And they no longer met in the park, instead they would meet and fly in many different types of space craft.
They continued to enjoy each others company and she found it very hard to make true friends in the waking world that could even compare to her connection with the dream ones.
Some how she always knew to keep it private. Never would she tell the story until here now.
The whistle on the teapot broke her concentration and she slipped into her most comfortable terry robe and dashed barefooted back to the kitchen.
Sitting by the big bay window overlooking the vibrant red rocks of Sedona's Oak Creek canyon, sipping her tea, she began to sob , it began unexpectedly from a convulsing chest, and she was shaking her head repeating , no, no it can't be over...
But for her it was, or at least the most important aspect was, her love her life, was gone now. How could a life time of connection be over, be lost to some other galaxy? To some fight a trillion miles away?
She had never felt so alone, so fragile and vulnerable. He had always been there, protecting her, creating little miracles as gifts.
Setting her cup down on the window ledge and heading back to bed, tears flowing without stopping.
What had happened last night? How had she made such a mistake?
It was still as clear to her as if it had happened in the waking world.
She fell asleep and woke in the other place, it was an apartment over looking the ocean in Laguna Beach California.
As soon as she caught her bearings and her eyes adjusted to the dim lighting, she saw dozens of aliens surrounding her in the now crowded living room. It was kind of a party scene, only some of the guests were far crazier looking than any she ever remembered. All shapes, sizes and races were present, like a stone through her heart she realized that all at once everything stopped. They all turned to gaze at her and began to crowd in alarmingly. She began to laugh and chose to see the now ugly twisted looking entities as non hostile and they also instantly changed and began laughing and the party was back on track. Whew! Knowing full well they could read her she still opted for a moments composure and asked them where the rest room was? They all looked dazed for a moment as she spoke out loud which was unusual among these beings, as if taking a moment to process they all said ahhh and pointed her in the direction of the small bathroom.
Once she was a bit more composed she walked back into the living room and sitting by the ocean view window in a large velvet captains chair, alone in the room was her soul mate, she felt her like a heart shock in every fiber of her being, there he was in all of his regality, large, poised, elegant, strong and masculine.
Arms stretched in an open welcome he embraced her with all of the love of a thousand millenia. As she stepped back to gaze into his eyes, he stood at least 4 feet above her.
He began to disrobe revealing the most enormous male organ, it was possible to make love, but she chose to be coy, embarrassed by his giant manhood, blushing she spoke in their silent language, which meant, it was too big.
In that moment all changed, he was now dressed to command his fleet, the soft silken robes gone. Instead now he spoke and told her "You are still not living true to your original face."
It was the smallest deception, the natural way a women would react in such a circumstance. It was meant to be playful and to gratify his manly ego. Still it was enough dishonesty to show she was not ready for the next level.
He told her there was a war going on in another dimension on a galaxy that would threaten all of the planets that were surrounding it. He had come to take me with him and even though my body would not have survived, my soul would have been placed once we arrived in another body. But it was clear that she was not ready, not yet.
He said that he would not be returning again in this life time, but that he would see me again in the next. He said that many years in the future I would hear stories about him and not to believe them because even though they would have a measure of truth, they would only be fragments of his words.
Next she was chasing the fleet down the beach, crying out, until she awoke
