I agree. Women would be better in power. The manipulation scenario is only something certain individuals let themselves get involved in.

The problem with manipulation is that not only men manipulate. Women manipulate to get us to do things, men do it (in general) for more power and sex.

Look at Hillary Clinton, she's a grand manipulator. Granted, she's a politician and a dirty one at that but I don't see anyone else running for President (female that is).

People in power only want more power. "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Giving anyone rule over another is a bad idea. No matter if its a male or female, people are more swayed by their own personal desires than that of others, especially when they have free reign over others lives.

Men nor women should be able to rule the planet. We should each have one vote and decide matters for real.

Both genders have power and both have just as many gullible people. Neither will ever have true power or be better then the other. Its all about balance.

As many faults as you can find with one gender, I can find just as many with the other. It's an endless debate which will never be solved because there is nothing to solve.

Women need men just as much as men need women.

believe it or not,i think life would be much the same as it is now if women were in charge.why?leave gender aside for a moment and look at the human and the negative.some humans are violent.some humans are cruel.some humans crave power & wealth and they long to control others.some humans fall prey to corruption.some humans thrive on manipulating the masses...and all of this has nothing to do with what sex you are.women may be softer and more inclined to nurture,until you piss her off that is.lol.but seriously,that is a myth.a bit like saying that every woman at some point will feel a longing to have a child.or that every woman will protect a child.not true! women can be as hard and as cold as men!
so whats the answer?
the persecution of women has to stop,of course.men may be stronger in the body,but we are equal in the mind.but we need to learn how to rule together.we also need leaders/politicians who will actually work for the people rather than for themselves!!

This is very very strange. This implys that a man or woman should go to work and or take risks with their lives and moneys and take second third or less place down the line while turning over their production to those unqualified to earn or spend it..with no consideration for the risks involved. In otherwords the people that earn the moneys are dispoasble and expendable. Isnt this being ruled over?? Lord knows that to have discretionary decision over how thier hard earned moneys are spent is to "rule " over others. Or is the act of not taking risks and determining how moneys are spent without earning them or taking risks in the earning ....is this ruling?? Think carefully on this. Which one is ruling or ruling over?? Do you know??

I think you have the cart before the horse here and public education is showing here...emotions not thinking.

Yet this scenerio I am attempting to describe from both sides is exactly what happens to most men in this country...thier struggles to earn their moneys are implicit..not explict. Hence their struggle to have a say so in how thier homes are run is implicit too. Do you for one minute think ,as I stated in my previouis post on this thread, that women are intrested in coming in second third or more places behind with thier moneys while men explore their options from a womans career earnings.
Only a man can be this naturally dumb and stupid because...women are not.

Once again ..look at the social roles between men and women, beliefs, and expectations, not the cheap political rhetoric foisted off on a ignorant public for votes.

Yet I must confess..that this is exactly the scenerio so many men in this nation find themselves in without any relief.

After all ..the dummy gets her body once in awhile...and a fathers day...or birthday...what more can a dummy expect in this world while taking risks to bring the bacon home.

So many of the men I know ..anything and everything is running his household...including peer groups of the children...and the television.

What was that about ruling??

The social function which takes place is "Options" not risk and responsibility. Women and children think from the angle and view of options not risk. The risk factor taken in earning the moneys to acquire options are not even mentioned in regards to male behavior. It is implicit not explicit. This is how a man takes second, third or even farther down the line place with his first place career earnings.

When I see this happening to some of the women I know..it is amazing the amount of bitching whining and moaning about unfairness is going on. Yet so many men suffer in silence ...this is what men are supposed to be doing in a era of "equality?"

Do you for one minute think that women ruling or in power are intrested in swapping places with a man in the name of such equality and taking second, third or further place with their moneys?? THey will not do a better job...they will only amplify this scenerio I describe under the guise of entitlement.

Once again social roles and beliefs are hidden while promoting such propaganda as posted by the OP.

None of this line of thinking is ever promoted or made light of by people who post such a scenerio as the OP.

And once again only a man can be this naturally stupid ..the women are not.
A man has to be some kind of stupid to not think he is entitled to something better for the risks taken with his labor to earn his moneys. But they "are" generally that dumb.

There are good leaders, and bad leaders, and it's experience, attitude, and intent that make them good or bad, not their gender (or race, while we're at it.)

It's time to drop sexism completely, not attempt to reverse it. Empyrical research has proven that the genders are equally competent in practically every area. Someone's gut instinct, personal belief, or experiences do not change that cold hard fact.

I dont quite agree Rob. Do the reasearchers take into account the risk factor??

By risk I mean taking personal risk for a goal..verses getting someone else to take the risk and then enjoying the fruit produced by someone elses risk??

Someone else taking the personal risk used to be called " Security or a security blanket." Todays trends might have renamed this to hide it from consideration.

So to rephrase my positions from previous posts...what security blanket are women in power going to produce for a man through thier female socialzation skills??

I so seldom see this position asked or made light on yet it is crucial here on this topic of women in power. Amazingly the men on these types of posts do not pose this line of thought for consideration. It is as if their brains dont function at all in this arena.

I can gaurantee you Rob that a womans brain does function well in this arena. She can crunch the numbers and navigate a route to this security blanket goal faster than most men can even conceive of this concept.

So what is the matter with the men Rob??

And why would a woman who can work both sides of the social spectrum, mostly unseen, be intrested in equality verses power?? Social or otherwise??
