I don't really think you can say those things are unconstitutional, based on the wording- acknowledgement is different than a State religion being established. You'd be hard pressed to read documents from the Founding Fathers that didn't have numerous Christian references, acknowledgements of a Creator, etc.. to believe that they interpreted things the way you are. The Founders were concerned with Freedom of, not Freedom From. You also have to remember at the time of its writing, there wasn't any other religion other than Christianity. What was at issue was the varying denominations within the Christian church, and their experiences under the Church of England, rather than Christian vs. Jew vs. Muslim vs. Buddhist vs. Hindu vs. whatever...

there was deism... you forgot that.

and that whole treaty that stated that the US is in no way founded on the christian religion...

Which Treaty are you referring to? I realize that there were Deists as well as Christians, but they both shared the belief that our rights aren't granted by Government, but by God. The Deists just believed that God had a more hands off approach than what Christians believed.
