NASA Lunar Archive Images...

Has anyone delved into this directory from NASA? (now defunct Lunar Prospector site)

It is an image archive directory tree structure (you can navigate the raw tree without the use of any pesky html window dressing). I don't know if theres anything here, if the images have been sanitized etc...

I believe we can request from NASA prints of any of the images in large format. Would be nice if they sent the 70mm negative as well!

The tree directory has sub-dirs named "MOON" and "SPACECRAFT" with sub-dirs of hi/med/low resolution.

    Here is an image of Lunar Orbiter 2 otherwise known as 66-100a. This id the spacecraft that has taken the John Lear Copernicus images and many more hi-res images.

    These don't really seem to be populated however on a cursory check....

    [EDIT] More information on this site...I guess the "OFFICIAL" statement by the site is that "The Lunar Prospector Archives is no longer operational. The assets to run these multimedia files are not available."

    So the image archive database does not contain a link from the "proper html pages of the official site". Well we can work around that! I've found the other archives of:
