The CIA should be dismantled before they start WWIII

This will sound far out for many naive enough to believe the US Gov't.

The CIA should be retired and broken up. The CIA has been trying to start WW III since late 1940s period when China went communist, the Korean War, U-2 embarrassment, Bay of Pigs fiasco, Missile Crisis, Assassination of JFK and no telling how many other operations including escalating the Vietnam war under LBJ's lies. Nixon was taken out of office due to ending the Vietnam conflict too soon. We had soldiers in Cambodia and Laos; we also shot down Chinese Migs on the Sovereign territory of China after they ran back for protection from North Vietnam. You will never hear of these stories because they are not popular.

The CIA was in SEA running drugs to the States. How else do you sponsor Black Operations? The CIA has to account for every dime they spend to Congress and the budget oversight committees. To raise funds for hidden agendas, they run drugs from Columbia and SEA. Then they do not need to report these funds to Congress. The Mafia are their buddies and have been since WW II when the Mafia was used to find out information from Europe about the German and Italian encampments. Of course it was not CIA at that time only OSS and other organizations.

The CIA Intentionally sabotaged the cold war peace talks in May 1960. They knew if peace pursued from the talks in France that the CIA and their counter part buddies, the KGB, would be put out of business. Russia knew the US U-2 spy plane was flying over USSR air space using a modified Pratt and Whitney j-57 jet engine at 80K feet. The KGB had informants within the CIA and Bodo, Norway. Bodo is where the U-2 landed after its flight from Pakistan across the USSR and into Norway.

The Russian's will not admit their radar operators could not track a plane at 80K feet in 1960. That would be admitting to failure. The only way they had of knowing the spy plane was over the territory taking sensitive photos was through independent source verifying this was occurring - CIA informants. There is one other way to know as well and that is for the U-2 to experience a flame out and need to descend 30K feet to below 50K feet to re-ignite the J-57. The engine probably flamed out at least once every sortie over the vast USSR air space. They probably tracked the re-ignition and climb out of range before their Migs could be scrambled to the location.

To shoot down the U-2 would take a more sophisticated radar and operator. This is where Lee Harvey Oswald enter the picture as a present from the CIA high command - Probably Allen Welsh Dulles himself authorized the fly over when President Ike Eisenhower ordered no flights before the important meeting with the Russian in France. The KGB and the CIA were probably working together to thwart the talks; and it worked successfully causing the Cold War to continue for decades.

Francis Gary Powers was very inexperienced at missions of any sort especially over hostile territory. Lee Harvey Oswald had learned Russian by the CIA while tracking U-2 spy planes in Atsugi, Japan. They probably approached him during his Marine indoctrination. That is when they had approached me. By the way LHO is a crappy shot with an M-1. His best is 212. Two years later, he qualifies by only one point - very bad. The 30 cal M-1 is a better sniper's rifle that the 6.5 mm Mauser with a misaligned scope he used to allegedly shoot JFK.

Gary Powers could not had used a shoot at those high altitudes. If the Russians had shot anywhere close to the plane it would have been a ride to his death. The plane would not have just had a broken wing at the wreckage sight. Those U-2 were so unstable when landing this probably occurred during a rough landing.

My guess is that the CIA had a man (LHO) that had learned Russian and was a U-2 radar tracker in the Marines at a USAF base in Japan. The USAF has their own trackers/operators that are very skilled. They would not appreciate a Marine in their mist except on special assignment.

LHO leaves the Marines quickly on false pretenses that his mother is aging and needs his assistance. They grant the false request. The CIA is behind the entire scam to get this crappy shooter into Russia as quickly as possible to track on Radar the U-2 spy plane for the USSR so they can escort it down for a landing in Russia. This is not mentioned anywhere but it is too great a coincidence that LHO is in the USSR the same time Gary Powers is shot down when before that period they could not come close.

Gary Powers was probably given orders to go below 50K for a good photo of Bison. This would give the CIA a good accounting of how many new bombers that would replace the Bear. Great cover story for Powers to need as his sortie orders on his recon mission over the USSR.

LHO was told to teach your new friends at the KGB how to track the U-2. When the U-2 was over the particular sensitive airfield, the Migs would have a fighter escort waiting for Gary Powers that he would not be aware of until too late.

All happened like clock work. LHO with his good Russian married a niece, Marina, of a Col in the KGB. She was living with her Aunt and Uncle at the time of LHO courtship and marriage within six weeks. Then LHO gets to take is new bride to Ft. Worth, TX in the USA from behind the Iron Curtain. NOT in those years. There are RED Flags going off in all of this mess.

We will never know the entire truth to that story. The Russians aren't saying, the KGB is not talking and neither will the compromised CIA.

No offence but I think your theory is missing some key facts:

* The C-75 experimental missiles at Sverdlosk that shot the U-2 down could (and have been tested) up to 78'000 ft. while the U-2 that powers flew could only reach 75'000ft.

The wing was never hit, the missile hit the U-2's Tail! For some reason it sheared off the tail without detonating.

No, Dick Nixon Resign from office on his own free will because of his role in Watergate, which he Admitted to!

No, Eisenhower gave written authorization for two last flights, He said that they had to complete the last one no later then May 1, 1960.

You are a bit late on your desire to stop WWIII. We are already in it.

Getting rid of the CIA won't stop WWIV either. It will just open the door even wider for those who want to destroy America and/or take over the planet. Believe it or not - the CIA helps insure a M.A.D. type system. It has to stay.

These are very accurate. Dig a little deeper than what they want you to know. Propaganda is always imbedded in the first layer. Eisenhower was going to resign due to the under handed administration that authorized the flight. Ike was very upset that his executive orders were not followed.
A missile would not shear off just the tail. Powers would not be alive using a chute. The plane would not be intact loosing only the tail and left wing, more likely a hard landing with a full load of fuel.
Watergate was thrown together by Nixon's own staff after he had already had everything to win another term. It was time for Nixon to go. Frank Sturgisl, Gordon Liddy, E Howard Hunt, Viriligo Gonzales, Eugenio Martinez, Bernard L. Baker, and James W McCord were convicted of conspiracy, burglary of watergate and wire tapping. Nixon did not authorise watergate. His only crime was in the cover-up of the mess to do with watergate. It makes no sense to break-in to the office at Watergate unless to bring down the top man they worked for. I know this is not your normal read. It is speculation and there are plenty of other points too many to mention in one thread about the CIA. Henry Kissenger was an operative telling everything they needed to know.
And YES Lee Harvey Oswald was an operative for the CIA and doubly so for the FBI to assist in shuting down Free Cuban Camps run by the CIA. That was an executive order given by JFK and enforced by J Edgar Hoover on US soil. Facts are straight.

I can't speak to the rest of the points, but I can tell you how a missile could hit the tail of a U-2 and not detonate. All that would take is a very good guidance system (which the Russians could build) and a faulty proximity fusing system (which both the USSR and USA managed to build surprisingly often, in spite of all efforts to the contrary). As for knocking just the tail off of a U-2, that's not hard either, if you poke around a bit. According to Ben Rich (head of the Lockheed Skunk Works after Clarence "Kelly" Johnson retired), in his book "Skunk Works", the U-2 was built as lightly as possible. One result of the weight saving measures was that the tail assembly was attached to the rest of the airframe by five bolts. This wasn't considered a problem, since the U-2 wasn't going to be engaging in extreme maneuvers that would seriously stress the joint. However, give the plane a hard smack aft of the joint, and I can easily see those bolts shearing, and doing minimal damage to the rest of the plane.

Never stated that a missile could not take off the tail section without detonation occurring. Stated only that if that had happened more than just the tail and left wing would be severed from the aircraft's airframe.

It really smells fishy after working on battle weary aircraft to think all that would happen would be the left wing and tail sections would tear off from an aircraft that lost its ability to fly at most any altitude. Cessnas come back to Earth crumpled more than this U-2. Cessnas fly lower and slower.

The damage was accomplised by a hard landing where the left wing tippped the ground and broke off probably after the tail sheared off for whatever reason. Otherwise, the plane would not have survived as well as it did and the pilot would not be walking and talking the way G Powers was doing immediately after the incident.

This incident cemented two projects: Corona and the A-12. Corona hid a secret camera payload aboard space orbital shots. And Skunk Works continued to develope the A-12 for the CIA. Also it stopped the peace talks and caused the cold war to continue for decades more for the benefit of the CIA and KGB.
