Mayan Prophecy as explained by Dan Eden

Topic started on 21-5-2007 @ 10:18 AM by AccessDenied

For those who believe and those who don't this is pretty much the "For Dummies" explanation of what is suppose to happen inDec.2012.This is by far the best article and explanation I have found yet. www.viewzone.com... By the way if you decide to click on the" confidential message link, make sure you have a good few hours to devote to reading it.It is a very good read but time consuming.

I like the amount of research he has put into what I have read so far. I need to read the whole thing before commenting intelligently on this subject, but I do find the Mayan Calendar fascinating.

Thank you for posting infinite8. I too find the Mayan calendar fascinating. This really is one of very few sites to put it into plain english and explain how the sunspot cycles tie in to the whole thing.Funny how Nasa is only claiming now about the peak of the cycle and the planet allignment for dec 2012.How do you figure the Mayans could accurately predict that?

Very interesting article. I hadn't read about any ecliptic transition before. Have others heard of this from fdifferent sources? Do we know that it's accurate?

I also read the 'confidential message' story. Very interesting but (as warned by the OP) extremely long. I liked it but, to me, it seemed more good fiction writing than anything else. Has anyone vetted this guy?

I remember him being a guest on the Art Bell show, and thats why I recognized his name. I did some "googling" on some of the info in his message. He sounds legit believe it or not.

It's happened before. Our solar system bobs up and down in its spiral arm of the galaxy.

Have others heard of this from different sources?

Yes.

Do we know that it's accurate?

His explaination of how the calendar works? Yes. His analysis? No, it's not accurate.

It's fiction. I was at the location in Alaska, and there's no evidence of the things he reported. Believe me, if it had been true, the Alaskan Indians (who are VERY active activists and will pitch a very public fit over things) would have been all over the news media and all over the airwaves and internet with it. And you couldn't have shut them down.
