Insane Surfer and 50 Foot Wave

I have seen people surf big waves before but this footage takes the cake. This person is truthfully insane. I can't even image it from his perspective, unless any of you have ever surfed before, you won't be able to completely grasp what this person is attempting to do.

I would be to scared to do that, and I'm also scared of sharks. lol.

I would love to learn how to surf though, but not 50 ft. waves!

I have surfed quite a bit, and I am a daring person, but this guy is completely insane. I am not joking one bit.

I have been in 20 foot waves before and they humbled my a## out. I have the utmost respect for mother nature, but the wave that guy rode in on was unthinkable.

If you put yourself in a situation where your at the bottom of a large wave looking up, you think the earth has turned evil and dark and is going to swallow you hole. The sound, power, and turbulence or a wave that size is a death wish.

My hats off to him because he is nuts.
