Spielberg to make Tintin movie

Awesome! He's going to make a movie about the comic book hero Tintin co-directing with Lord of the Rings and King Kong director Peter Jackson. I used to read the comics as a kid, so it will be great to go and see the movies (3 of em).

To honor the traditional cartoon style, advanced 3D animation will be used, aimation that "goes far beyond anything we've seen to date with computer animated characters." And here's me thinking Shrek looked pretty convincing . . .
