That's kinda the point I was trying to make Simon. The only way they could have been Hornets was if they faked the video. If it was real then they
had to be F-16s.

Zaphod, I was just trying to clarify the whole F-18/F-16 point. No argument intended.

Oh I understand completely. I was just explaining why I kept hitting on that point. Sorry if it came across argumentative in any way. I had
surgery last week, and today was a PT day, so I'm hurting now, and get a little cranky sometimes.

no problems guys, as i said i seen it long ago.. most probably where F16s.
The documentry was made in 1987 so you may have seen a later airing of it. This is definetely 100% the documentry you are discussing though.

Well, seeing as it is military airspace, you would be shot down as you cross over into the airspace. Seeing as this would be top secret, the chances
of surviving are much lower.

No, you would NOT. There is NO immediate shoot down airspace ANYWHERE in the United States. As in the video we have been discussing, you will
be intercepted, and you will be escorted to a landing strip. If you CONTINUE to try to penetrate the airspace, or you act aggressively towards the
planes intercepting you, THEN you run risk of being shot down.

this could be tested.
there are multiple radio sets and data transfer systems available off the shelf that could be retrofitted to a small, business jet type aircraft
enabling a "live video feed." in the unlikely chance that an air force installation (be it area 51) decides to go weapons hot against a small
civilian plane that is simply maintaining flight level, not descending on the installation, there will be an external party recording the whole thing.
sattelite pics of the place are readily available online; i doubt they would claim it was a recon flight.

Did you read that rest of the thread? It already happened. There is a VIDEO of it happening. SOP is that you are intercepted, they make contact,
and they tell you to turn. If you DON'T turn, then they are not responsible if you are shot down. But they WON'T shoot until the last second, and
only if you continue to press on. And at that point, if you DO get shot down, then you deserve it, just for being such an idiot.

i know, what im saying is, after being told to divert, as long as you are maintaining flight level, simply flying over the restricted zone, i doubt
they would shoot you down, even after threatening.

Just say you did to manage to fly successfully over Area 51, i highly doubt your going to see an ET UFO or ET's. What I THINK you would see is what
you see while looking at the aerial photos of Area 51 a very long runway and hangers with planes. You MITE see a new fighter plane that nobody has
ever seen before outside enjoying the Neveda sun but then again i highly doubt it. Just say you did manage to land successfully and run about Area 51
with out being caught FOR A WHILE ( 10 min at most if you are relly good at dodging the best) i highly doubt your going to bump into an ET or see a ET
UFO. All that stuff will be locked up somewhere else. Thats if there is ET's or ET UFO's. But in this day and age if you did fly over Area 51 or a
highly secure military base in the world they would shot you down, mabay one warning but after the warning they
would shot you down NO HESITATION. BANG BANG !!
If we are ever going to know what happens inside Area 51 or whats there we are going to need someone from the inside to come out and spill
the beans, another Bob lazar if he was the real deal. Anyway thats the way i look at it like.

Yeah, they would. They're not going to risk you having something on board that would make a big dent in their base. Once you are intercepted, and
you are told to turn or be fired upon, they WILL shoot you. They'll fire warning shots to start, but eventually they WILL put a missile into you.

I think the documentary referred to earlier in the thread is a UK television show hosted by Bruce Burgess, and it's called Dreamland.
More here at imdb
It's actually been released on DVD, and is a rather interesting piece of work.

The documentry was indeed the cook report and i know this because it was on last night.
It was indeed F-16's that where "escorting" him away.
I'm looking into the possibility of obtaining the show on tape or whatever by using the Freedom of Infomation Act, and getting it that way.

Burgess, in the "Dreamland" documentary, was also chased away by two F-16s when his craft flew within less than one mile of the restricted
airspace.
Just before that, we see and hear the pilot ask Nellis' tower if there's any activity over at Groom Lake for that day, and the tower guy marks a
pause before replying "activity where, sir?"
Well worth a watch.

They'll never tell us what's really going on cause it's a national security secret and could be a threat they won't let it into our hands that are
the general public from been too advanced and completed for some minds in the general public they wouldn't know how to turn a UFO on nor fly it.
Some minds in the public treat many of us like a freak show and destroy someone's life cause of it they'll do that to a UFO too cause they'll push
the wrong buttons without thinking first and get us all in danger and under threat.
The only time when they'll let us at it is if our generation forget our silly ways up on each other that destroy us cause of general public hatred
against differences and that courses violence and war. Untill then we're stuck on this planet. Good luck if you find proof let us know when you got
some real proof and tansmit it all over our Televisions.
