Not much of a heads up but BBC2 in the UK is showing a 50th anniversary edition of The Sky at Night at the moment.

I will see if theres a repeat coming up and let you know here.

Excellent. It's simple format makes it timeless.


Shame on the bbc though, Patrick moore had to pay for his own celebratory party, poor show on their part.

would i be wrong in thinking the event was on the night of 23 Jan 1938
when the sky over the whole world was mysteriously 'lit up'??

that was supposedly the (Fatima) 'warning' that WWII was to begin
