Around 90 percent of American kids under 2 and 40 percent of babies under 3 months are regular TV watchers, according to a recent pediatric study (via CNET).

"We don't know from the study whether [TV] is good or bad. What we know is that it is big," said study conductor Frederick Zimmerman of the University of Washington.

Well I have a certain opinion that TV is Bad - especially for very young childern, like children under age of 2; which watch TV too much of their spare time in America. Even babies under 3 months old, are regularal watchers! To me that is a slightly frightening statistic. Yes, television can be educational, but there are plenty of violent TV-shows and plenty of violent TV-movies being played 24/7, and children under the age of 2 years or babies under the age of 3 months should NOT watch this kind of shows!
