There is a certain sense in which I'd agree with you, in that the idea of two opposing and mutually exclusive camps is a false dichotomy.
I enjoy cooking. Is that gay? What if I hated to cook-- would that make me "straighter?" In fact, my skill as a cook has absolutely no bearing on

Point is, even the most porn-star of us only spends 5% or so of our time actually involved in the act of sex. And that's on a busy day. Not
everything I do has some sort of gender implication.
I guess one of my regrets in living in an "open, permissive" society is that now we are compelled to talk about sex as if it were the most important
thing on the planet, when it is only one dimension of love.
There was a time when two people could be friends, and there didn't have to be sexual tension for them to feel an abiding connection.
