Actually I think he will take his office to the newly erected Us embassy in Iraq. From there im guessing he will be put in charge of all things American inside Iraq and the greater middle east.

Ceck out the embassy its huge. Funded by the good ol tax payer.. this multibillion dollar mini city inside bagdad will be his own little retirement castle where him and his crew can play cowboys and Indians(iraqis) untill hes too old to cock his rifle. LMAO

As far as fighter jets ... we'll I've never flown a fighter jet personally, but the first time I flew a cessna the only thing my instructor DIDN'T let me do was land the plane. And I've only had a Tech School education ... and I still know what "elevate" means. I would think being a "fighter pilot" he would too?!

from what I remember both of those elections were in question. If we had no electoral college, I don't believe Bush would have won the first, much less the second election.

Sorry for venturing off the subject. I believe Bush will run and hide, probably with his good buddies and investors the Bin Ladens where he can be close to his precious.

I'm not his biggest fan, but he's not the Satan-spawn y'all are making him out to be either. He'll write a book, go to state funerals, and basically not do a whole lot.

I see Bush as the next Commissioner of Major League Baseball. His experience as being former owner of the Texas Rangers, and running the United States of America, would make him a front-runner for the job.

RRconservative out of all the things mentioned on this thread Bush becoming the head of baseball is the most likely to happen although I do think that it would be quiet a while before Bush took on such an job . After Bush leaves office he will open his presidential library and in the long term future he will look for ways to redeem his reputation. Remember that even Nixon managed to redeem his reputation before he died in 1994.

I don't know what Bush will do, but if I was in his position, which is to say if I were immensely unpopular and likely to be regarded as a below average president almost regardless of what happens, I would try to follow in the footsteps of other horrible presidents who had redeeming qualities in their lives before or after the white house, like Hoover and Carter.

He should choose something that will be popular among 40% or so of his base that he has lost a lot of support from, and which he will seem sincere in, and throw himself at it and try to prove some degree of aptitude and independence after the fact. Maybe a drug and alcohol treatment foundation or something like that would be a good endeavor for him.

Another thing that would look good is if he could follow in his dad's footsteps to some degree and bury the partisan hatchet once he's out of the game. Do photo ops with former rival dems for good causes, etc.

Basically, he needs to depoliticize himself for the sake of JEB, who at this point will probably never be president but does hold the best chance for keeping the family in the political game for future generations.

Whatever he does, I'm sure he'll fail, like most of his endeavors.
