Well I think I will go with the Military's explanation on this one. There were military fighter jets at the scene, so we know that whatever was
really going on, the military knows for sure what it was. I find it funny when people like old ladies say things like, "Nope, no way those were
flares," when they most likely probably were. Average civilians wouldn't know high-tech military training devices from a hole in the ground. With
the kind of technology we have these days who knows what kind of training flares they use?
The only other explanation is that the weird "objects" were actually Unidentified and possibly even Alien crafts. But if this is the case, then
what are a bunch of military jets doing flying around? What exactly did they think they were going to accomplish? Fly around the objects and scare
them? lol. Last but not least, maybe the objects were new top secret military crafts, explaining why they were accompanied by regular military
jets... etc...
