I am a creationist and believe that anything is possible..I think that if there was a big bang it was because of God. Its not something that i rule
out just because of my beliefs..i try to incorporate it

I dont like to use the word GOD when talking about the creation of the universe, as I'm not a supporter of organised religion. But one thing I do agree with is that something definitely created this universe. Call it whatever you want but I call it consciousness and we are all a part of it.
Quite alot of scientists who have studied and done research into particles are now coming to the same conclusion, that they might possibly be self aware and therefore conscious.

The Self-Aware Universe
homepages.ihug.co.nz...
I remember a while back watching a documentary on BBC2 called "the Planets" about our solar system. After it finished I immediately thought it was a pity that they didn't cover black holes and the big bang.
When I went to bed later that night I had the most bizarre dream whereby I stood before this highly intelligent being and started asking it questions about the universe.
I was told that the main purpose of black holes was to recycle matter so that it can be used over and over again to create new universes. Basically we live in a multiverse where all universes are shaped like a football and all are connected to one another by black holes.
Our universe is basically the result of a black hole in another universe collapsing in on itself and exploding creating a new baby universe which expands, evolves and grows and this process of recycling goes on forever.
Whether there's any truth to this or just my imagination running riot, who knows. When I was watching the news on TV later in the week, my jaw dropped wide open when I heard a scientist announcing that the research they had done led them to believe that the Universe was shaped like a football.![]()

OVERVIEW / COSMIC CONFUSION
The expansion of our universe is much like the inflation
of a balloon. The distances to remote galaxies are increasing.
Astronomers casually say that distant galaxies are “receding”
or “moving away” from us, but the galaxies are not traveling
through space away from us. They are not fragments of a big
bang bomb. Instead the space between the galaxies and us is
■ The expansion of the universe is one of the most
fundamental concepts of modern science yet one of the
most widely misunderstood.
■ The key to avoiding the misunderstandings is not to take
the term “big bang” too literally. The big bang was not a
bomb that went off in the center of the universe and
hurled matter outward into a preexisting void. Rather it
was an explosion of space itself that happened
everywhere, similar to the way the expansion of the
surface of a balloon happens everywhere on the surface.
■ This difference between the expansion of space and the
expansion in space may seem subtle but has important
consequences for the size of the universe, the rate at
which galaxies move apart, the type of observations
astronomers can make, and the nature of the accelerating
expansion that the universe now seems to be undergoing.
■ Strictly speaking, the big bang model has very little
to say about the big bang itself. It describes what
happened afterward. Overview/Cosmic Confusion

Scientists have discovered an alternate force that has been slowing the expansion of the Universe, called Dark Energy, and it has been slowing it down but they thought it would originally stop the Universe and make the big crunch.
In physical cosmology, dark energy is a hypothetical form of energy that permeates all of space and tends to increase the rate of expansion of the universe.
Assuming the existence of dark energy is the most popular way to explain recent observations that the universe appears to be expanding at an accelerating rate. In the standard model of cosmology, dark energy currently accounts for almost three-quarters of the total energy of the universe.
