Some great new pictures.


Image of the planet Jupiter's moon, Io, as seen by the New Horizons spacecraft. A plume from a huge volcanic eruption can be seen at the north pole of the moon.




Io's surface change from the picture Galileo took.



And its on its way to Pluto and the kuiper belt.

The name of the moon is "Io", not "Lo".

Thank you, opps, corrected.
I was looking on that last link i posted, i was going to put my favorite picture up but couldn't make up my mind, is there any particular picture on that link that you really like?

Thats a neat photo of a starwars field generator, pity we can't see the purple blue effect.
