It seems very obvious to me, but others much more educated than me dissagree.

The earth has gone through ice ages, which thaw out, and then plunge into ice ages again over millions of years. Continents were once sea floors, and sea floors are now lush jungles. Islands spring up, and islands sink below sea level. Deserts were once oceans, and mountains once valleys. All this has been going on in a constant cycle, long before man ever set foot on this planet.

So my question is: Why is this suddenly "man made"?

Well, the next part of the ice-age cycle is actually cooling. So, we need to look for the causes of the current warming trend. The evidence suggests human activity of various kinds is having a significant effect on climate.

Solar activity can account for some, but not all of the current warming.
