Ohh, Freaks. Good one. Never saw it, but I'm familiar.

Another weird one that creeped me out was Lynch's Lost Highway. Bill Pullman was the star, but Robert Blake had a role that epitomizes "weird".

I wonder if Lynch's movies are even scripted in advance. Sometimes I think he just aggregates some actors, sets up the camera, and says, "Be weird". I'm guessing freelance medication may be involved.

Then there's Naked Lunch the Peter Weller vehicle based on a William Burroughs novel.

Burroughs is like Lynch only with more powerful hallucinogens.

And don't overlook Pi. One of my personal favorite weird flicks about a mathematician who has discovered a secret imbedded in the digits of pi.

They have it on Netflix.

And that is a creepy one. It's where the Ramones got the "Gabba gabba we accept you" thing from.

I agree with you, yeahright, Pi is pretty weird.

Uzumaki (Spiral) a Japanese flick is likewise really odd.

Eraserhead, also by David Lynch.

There aren't stranger movies.

I'll second that. Seeing this movie actually, and literally gave me a headache, the only time I've had such a physical reaction to a film.

Although I've since come to love most of the other films of David Lynch, I've never had a desire to revisit Eraserhead. Life's too short.

David Lynch's Mullholand(SP?) Drive

that movie was wayyyy weird... took me a good 30 minutes to grasp it after the movie was over piecing things together
