Happy St Georges Day folks.
Do you show your patriotic side to this date in the calender or does this have no meaning to you, the indivdual, at all.
I believe that all English people should fly the flag of St.George as a mark of loyalty to our country.
Immigration in our island nation is rife and our culture is gradually being overshadowed by foreign festivities and celebrations. Our identity as English needs to be stated today to show our national pride for our country. In europe and other continents we are refered to as 'British' but today we are ENGLISH.
Have a happy St. Georges day. :

i know this is an old thread, but i thought i would add a little,

st george is the patron saint of england and protector of the crown,

he wasn't even english, never stepped a foot on our soil - in fact he had a roman father and palestinian mother,

and the story of st george and the dragon - never happened here,
he killed it in libya

the crusaders brought the story back

oh - yes, i am english and live in england

just my bit
