the problem i have with most conspiracies is a simple one, i feel the government is to inept to conceal or cover up anything for very long. i may be wrong but when you look at the track record for cover ups and state secrets it's not good. the atomic secrets were out before the bomb was even built Iran-contra was out before the weapons cases were even opened, i mean it is hard for me to believe some of the stuff i read here because a lot of it would depend on the government being competent and that's a stretch given the history we know of. i am not really trying to start a debate with people on this, it's more a question of wondering what others think about this. are tptb really sharp and on the ball fooling us all or are they as dumb as they seem?

Stealth technology was kept secret for about 20 years, and then of course are the secrets that we don't even know about... How can you measure their success in keeping secrets if you don't know about the ones that they HAVE kept secret?

And then there is the definition of a secret. Lets take the 9/11 massacre for example, probably one of the gov't biggest modern secrets. Is it still a secret? Yes and no, it depends on what you believe.

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.
