Was the sequencing of the human genome just the foundation stone for the great wall that is epigenetics?

Saw this program last night and it intrigued me,I'd never heard of epigenetics.Check out the video accompanying this story.

Interesting find, thanks for the post. So I guess if I smoke, drink and do drugs, my epigenetic profile may change compared to if I did not do the above things.

This change is then transferred to my offspring. I wonder if the changes are for the better or worse? I mean would the changes made help my children better deal with, cope and repair such intrusions to the body?

I don't know,too soon for me to tell.Hopefully the scientists will let us know asap!
