Hate to continue the off topic but yes, thats what I thought too actually. but I think i'll use a few mammoth tanks to stop you.

Anyway on topic:

The chronovisor was supposedly a machine for viewing past and future events. Its existence was alleged by François Brune, author of several books on paranormal phenomena and religion. In his book The Vatican’s New Mystery he claimed that the device had been built by the Italian priest and scientist Father Pellegrino Maria Ernetti (1925-1994). While Father Ernetti was a real person, the existence (much less the functionality) of the chronovisor has never been confirmed.

For anyone interested in finding out more about WHAT exactly the chronovisor broadcasts:
The whole thing starts way back thousands of years ago, in India.
A man named "Bhrigu" supposedly was able to tap into the Akasha-Chronicles through meditation. (theres a bunch more that runs into that as well) With his visions he then started the first Palm-leaf manuscripts.

Ok, so the Akasha-chronicles are supposedly the history of the world. Everything every person does and says is being copied onto a magnetic "tape" not visible or hearable to us (even dogs and cats hear and see better than us). The huge "video tape" of the worlds history or "memory" consists of all kinds of magnetic waves and sound waves, which I don't understand since i am not a physicist.

So, basically the CHRONOVISOR taps into the Akasha-Chronicles which can be tapped into at any time as long as you have the means to.

Maybe this helped out alittle for those of you that are looking for Info.
I am not sure if I believe all this, I just happened to be reading a book where a few Chapters are all about the Akasha-Chronicles and The Chronovisor.

The ancients Indians ability to access the Akasha records are real. But more importantly, Edgar Cayce, the American psychic was able to access the Akasihc records (as he called it) and access information about anything from anytime in history. I am almost certain that I replied to a thread with the same subject in the past, but here it goes again...

There is a book called Father Ernetti's Chronovisor.

It's a translation from German - and a VERY odd one, if you ask me...
Anyway, not having read the original, all I can say is that, in my opinion, it is a terrible book - one of the most confusing and disorderly pieces of writing I have ever encountered.

But at least some parts are interesting - if not necessarily illuminating - to read...

Yes, but Cayce said that the device would not be developed until mankind reached a certain level of development, so that it would not be abused. So it makes me doubt anyone figured out how to build one so soon. Maybe in a couple hundred years, when humans finally mature enough, will have one, but not before.

My question is, even if such a thing as a chronovisor could and did exist, then how do you focus it. Seems like you'd get a mud of images, all ontop of eachother.

If you take the time to examine the Cayce readings more indepth, you would see where he explains that the predictions he made may not come about in the exact time frame he saw. From his point of view, at the time, he was making his predictions and those are the dates he saw. Obviously, predicting dates is a very difficult task, even for the best psychics in the world. Also that's not to mention other influences may be at play here as well, effecting the outcome of certain dates.

As for the comments you made about picking up images from a so-called Chronovisor, I don't know how to build one or how exactlly the tuning process works, as I've never used one. But how do you tune a radio station on a radio or tv station on a tv? I suspect this Chronovisor works in a similar manner.

First, it's called "double talk" it's what a prohpet uses to get people to believe his predictions even well after the experation date.
Secondly, radio waves are purposely sent out at certain frequencies, and reach a certain range before they are to weak. A chronovisor would apparently pick up the radiation, or enrgy from event that happend hopwever long ago (apparently severely long ago) and then be able to view them.
The thing is, radiation of any kind, and light, which how we see, goes outward. It doesn't just sit around. Even if it did just sit around, it'd blen together, each to it's similar type.
The best I'll hope for is some sort of vision thing that enables you to see residual and active hauntings, that's realy about the best you can hope for. ANd those afford only vague and random views at best.
