NASA releases new close up of Mars Face

Like I said, im sure alot of what we "assume" mars to be, geographical wise, are based off our observations of earth.


There is alot we don't know. We aren't even 100% sure that mars has a liquid/solid iron core. For all we know, the tectonic plates could look like a bag of lays chips with some guy sitting on it. Hell, it could be so wierd has to not have tectonic plates. It leaves a very large hole as far as assuming what is natural and what isn't.



Am I right? Correct me if im wrong please. Just seems like common scence.

Sadly you are correct... so then going by that statement do we stop searching?

Now it can be argued that since the data from outer space is sent electronically and the photos are created here on Earth that an independant could intercept the signal and make his own copy (This has actually been done)

Well NASA has the answer to that as well... Algorithms... Seems the Rovers and I assume all the spaceships... have built in anomaly recognition software that automatically edit stop and apply that Algorithm

So there you have it...

But some of the older images say of the Moon before 1972 that got printed before editing set in are good hunting zones and don't talk to me about the quality of the images because the contractor who made them states they were good enough to recognize a card table on the surface...

Problem is the Department of Defense got those versions LOL

So we look in the hopes of finding something they missed...

No one is perfect

And we apply image analysis to spot the fakes from the real, something not easy to do for the average person who only views the photos in a browser.

But one cannot help but wonder the purpose of those skeptics who constantly insist "nothing but your imagination" or "tricks of the mind" "tricks of light and shadow" or "they are just rocks"

At least anomaly hunters find some really cool images, no matter what they truly show..

Its a "same s**t, different day" kind of thing. Remove the 'visual aids', present it in an uncropped version with that area not centered in the image, and you have the same thing. Wishful thinking and fancy.

Its not even a "real issue" zorgon. Its the same issue. Consider it "skeptically spoken out against".

Added re; golfball: Why do I see the same 'stippled' effect outside of the crater? With some linear features to it also, to boot? The shape is such that the eye is drawn to its familiarity and the perceived texture completes the illusion.

Well there is one thing on Mars that is totally Alien, nothing like it on Earth... so you are correct...

Imagine levitating dry ice sheets over miles of the Polar region The sun heats the ground beneath the "dry ice" and the released CO2 as the ice melts from the bottom up builds pressure and literally lifts the sheet of ice...

Then as holes melt in the sheet the pressure releases in geysers of black sand...

Unfortunately the original image does not fit into the forum. The other reason to clip it is simply because very few people can handle the full res images, nor have a graphic editor to view them..

However this face has not been reoriented and is just like that in the original which is here... Coincidentally just below the really closeup view of the Cydonia Pyramid... Another point no one has mentioned LOL

Nothing required except a good pair of eyes... scan down the image until the "pyramid" jumps out at you in bright clear relief... its just on the ridge beneath that...

As to what you see in the "golf ball" image, you fall into the same trap as you claim we do... you see what you want to see...

It could be that the atmosphere conditions that existed during the creation of the face only exists in Mars and that's what caused it to make that shape. Rather than teh regular shape of mountains we observe on Earth was in a completely different setting not to mention miles away from Mars, the sun, and gravitation pull.

Because you misinterpret my meaning yet again...

I don't care wetter they are artificial or not meaning that i don't want one more then the other so i am not biased and blinded to only evidence that shows there are artificial structures on mars.

But I am still interested in the subject, i seemed to have difficulties communicating last night even though i must have repeated my self like 20 times.

Thanks zorgon....now its even more clearly a natural geological formation that looks remarkably like a face.

I don't know why we persist. I'm pretty sure everyone is in agreement....sometimes, features of geology come together to form shapes and shadows that remind of us faces.

A thought occurs to me......why not genitalia? Or hands? If other cultures wanted to send messages....why aren't examples of these things held up as deep mysteries?

I just noticed this myself.......and I find myself wondering if they (NASA) presented this photo 'upside down' so we wouldn't quite notice that resemblence??......Hummmm

That is a good question and one I have asked many times, yet no one can give me a straight answer...

I know why I persist... I have seen enough anomalies to convince me that there is something going on at least on the Moon. And I do not mean faces. But the faces are interesting and popular and draw attention to all the outer space imagery, some of which is truly awesome and mind boggling.

Whether or not you see rocks or Alien constructs doesn't change the fact that we all really do want to find something. I cannot speak for anyone else... but don't forget a very important thing here. Psychiatrists use the rorschach images to determine how your thought processes work...

I would be very leary of those who "see nothing" I bet they are highly unstable It is my opinion that looking at these "faces" trains the mind to be more perceptive and thus once easily spotted and identified, they can then be eliminated from the anomaly hunt, but you now have a better trained eye to see the other stuff. This is only my opinion, but its based on observation of responses and tests on unsuspecting victims BWAHAHA

Well simply because no board would tolerate that because of fact they are open to all ages. It would also be in poor taste and bring out the really worst comments so its best not to go there. But someone posted one just recently in the Mars thread not sure which...

They used to put naked females patterns into ice cubes for subliminal advertising to make you want to drink more, until that was outlawed... never worked on me, but I have a cool collection of easy to spot "scenes" in those old magazine ads...

Maybe all the faces etc we see are some subconscious message trying to get through... Alien subliminal messageing hmmmm might be on to something here.

As to why the faces appear more human like than Alien? Well whats an Alien look like? Sure we have the "Greys" but if its true that the Gods made us in their image, why do the aliens have to look different than us? Never could understand that logic . And if man did originate from Mars or some other world, well we would still look the same...

Yup I think I will go with subliminal messaging for now

Now it also seems that we are not the only ones hunting faces... So be happy in the knowledge that even NASA scientists do the same thing, and then shamelessly promote it...

Markers around the face of Mars? Has this been discussed before? I also find the "new flow" of water interesting as well.

ur not serious are u? it's not collapsed it's worn down from weather. i wish it were a structer that would prove inteligent life once lived on the planet but i'm convinced it's not. the 3rd or 4th post on this thread had a link that showed a 3d model of the mountain and it's only like that on one side. if it was a carving then it would be dug into on both sides not just one. i'm convinced that there was once life on mars but not inteligent. if there was inteligent life on the planet at one time it was a long time ago and their long gone either left or died out and whatever remains were left of their culture have been worn away by time.

So what convinced yo? Do you have documents that you can share?

And why would all traces have been worn away by time? That is actually a pretty dumb statement considering the thousands of year old works of past civilizations on Earth that we are still finding buried beneath desert sands

And that section of the "face" did collapse. Anyone with even rudimentary geological knowledge can see that... Just look back a few posts to the Malin picture that I posted with the "Island" Just because it collapsed does not mean it was a construct, but it did collapse

Oh there certainly is some pictures of weird stuff out there, beyond the obvious UFOs Tried to get some input on these

Saw that one of them appeared here, I'm not saying it's a golfball (lol that'd be a huge one) or anything of the sort. I am saying it looks interesting though.

Oh and considering the NASA ufo videos and how they've stopped with the live feeds..it's just like...c'mon, I guess I'm nuts but I'm just very convinced NASA isn't giving away all sorts of little treats they've run into. There are just too many weird videos, pictures, statements from people who has been involved.
