f all the visions Dannion received, most have already come to pass. These include the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Persian Gulf war. In the future, great environmental destruction will lead to the establishment of an environmental religion. The world economy will collapse. War will occur between China and Russia. People will be required to have a computer chip implanted in their bodies containing an individual's personal information. People who refuse to have this chip implanted will be considered outcasts. If humanity changes for the better, a horrible world war will be averted. Natural disasters will cause famines and starvation.

"Then he did a startling thing. He opened a corridor through time which showed me increasing natural disasters coming upon this earth. There were more and more hurricanes and floods occurring over different areas of our planet. The earthquakes and volcanoes were increasing. We were becoming more and more selfish and self- righteous. Families were splitting, governments were breaking apart because people were thinking only of themselves. I saw armies marching on the United States from the south and explosions occurring over the entire world that were of a magnitude beyond my capacity to imagine. I realized if they continued, human life as we have known it could not continue to exist.

"Suddenly this corridor was closed off and a second corridor started to open through time. At the beginning they appeared very similar but the further the second one unfolded, the more different it became. The planet grew more peaceful. Humanity and nature both were better. Humanity was not as critical of himself or others. He was not as destructive of nature and he was beginning to understand what love is. Then we stood at a place in time where we were more like the beings of the fourth and fifth realm. The Lord sent the mental message to me, "It is left to humanity which direction they shall choose. I came to this planet to show you through the life I led how to love. Without OUR FATHER you can do nothing, neither could I."

A major terrorist attack in New York City or Washington D.C. will severely impact the way people live in the US. [This was fulfilled on 9/11/01.] Terrorist activities and wars will occur first in the Middle East, then in Italy (the Vatican and Rome). Catastrophic natural disasters will happen in the West. A shift of the earth's axis will result in massive earthquakes and tidal waves. The collapse of the U.S. economy and government will occur. The danger of global war will come from China. The conversion of China to God is necessary to prevent global war. If people turn more to spirituality and less to materiality, these disasters need not happen.

Actually the site you got this from NC mentions many things about NDE's

For example

In 1986, researchers Dr. Satwant Pasricha and Dr. Ian Stevenson, documented 16 cases of Indian near-death experiences in the Journal of the American Society for Psychical Research, 77, 1 15-135. Their small sample shows, Indian and American near-death experiences resemble each other in some respects but differ in others. Subjects of Indian near-death experiences do not report seeing their own physical body during the near-death experience, although American subjects usually do. Subjects of Indian near-death experiences frequently report being taken to the after-death realm by functionaries who then discover that a mistake has been made and send the person back, whereupon he or she revives. In contrast, American subjects, if they say anything at all about why they revived, mention meeting deceased family members who told them to go back, or say they came back because of ties of love and duty with living persons or say they were told it was not their time to die).

As well as this one

Christian reincarnation
The long forgotten doctrine

Does it make any ultimate difference in one's religious life whether or not he believes in reincarnation? I believe there are much greater priorities in a spiritual life than whether one does or does not accept a particular theological tenet. Those who are still irresolute on the question of reincarnation, or indeed those who are emphatically resolute in one direction or another, possess no special advantage before God. The only possible advantage that the reincarnationist may claim over those who are unresolved or opposed is that he has a reasonable and consistent theory to account for the prenatal and postmortem life of the soul as well as an explanation for the apparent absurdities in the dispensation of divine justice. The following are excerpts from two of the greatest books on the subject I know. The first is Reincarnation for the Christian by Quincy Howe Jr. The other is Reincarnation: The Missing Link of Christianity by Elizabeth Prophet.

I agree NC

I did find it interesting that a common theme in NDE's is life flashing before
ones eyes. Ultimately one would reach a point in which the very first thing one thought would be apparent, The "First Thought" could even have information about what one was the moment before.

Don't forget that a prophecy is just like an 3X+2=Y graphic. If X stays the same, Y will stay the same. X = Our mindset and/or the trend of things that are happening...

It's not cast in stone, we can still change it. That's what those beings told Dannion Brinkley.

In the article I asked everyone to read, there is an account of a smoking gun evidence of NDE's being real...

Wow finding this has been posted in 2002 i was really intrigued when Dannion mentioned the economic collapse and the rest of his predictions have come to pass. The scary one now is the China war and global disasters.
Will we all find our way to Love soon and stop being materialistic.

Has anyone got anymore information on Dannions prophecies?

I want to know if there were more prophecies as well. When I read about the economic collapse I became very interested in this. I didn't see this coming until about 6 or 8 months ago, so this person has a gift or someone with more info than us mere mortals came for a visit.

Research Edgar Cacye. he supposedly did alot of predictions to warrant it to be interesting.

I think he was only off on the years they were meant to happen but either way some have happened and the chip to be embedded in everyone that was meant to be late 1990's has been done in Isreal now.

I would like to know where all his predictions are too.

Isn't it interesting that the site cited didn't have a "prophecy" page anymore? Isn't it also interesting that I can't find a listing for a "Dannion" in the site map? Coincidence?

Have I overlooked it? If so, could someone point it out to me?

edit: Nevermind, found it. Here is the link: www.near-death.com...

hello

IMHO as a Christian, people do not have near death experiences. Not in the way that people are told to go back and the time is not right and they go to heaven or hell etc.

when we say near death we actually mean death for a length of time. One thing the Bible tells us is that the dead know nothing, so if they had in fact died, they would know nothing of it.

"the dead know nothing"

There are two types of death; physical and spiritual. And for every physical story you read in the Bible, there is an even bigger spiritual lesson.

"Let the dead bury their dead." Jesus Christ

To be enlightened by God is a wonderful thing, but if this gift hasn't been imparted on someone, then the saying "the dead know nothing" takes on a whole new meaning.

Peace

Dannion is a false prophet. Everything he says that he "already" predicted happened before he published the book, such as the prediction of Ronald Reagan as president, etc.

The things that he predicted after publication didn't happen. It is 2008 and they didn't happen. He did not predict a terrorist attack in 2001 BEFORE it happened, he only tells about it after the fact. Get the first printing of the book "Saved by the Light."

He is a fraud. In fact, I have never seen any accounts of NDE prophecies that came to pass. I challenge you to find some and post them here (with dates, like Dannion had), then we can test it. I will be more than happy to post in a few years when it doesn't happen to tell you "I told you so."

At www.erowid.org...'___'.shtml you can read reports from people experiencing with the extremely strong halucinogen '___'. Appart from existing in grass it is also present in our brains naturally, and uppon death this hallucinogen is released in the brain. To extract it from let's say grass or reeds you must have a laboritory and perform many different processes to isolate it. I do not in any way suggest you give it a try, this is dangerous stuff. But it is interesting to find so many similarities between NDE's and tripping on '___'.

There are instances where NDE reports demonstrate a knowledge of facts or events that are verifiable. To write them off as a hallucination is difficult to do in these instances, and it is something that can be tested, i.e. not conjecture.

Do you believe in reincarnation, then, as this seems to be a recurring theme of NDEs? Or are the experiencers contacting certain entities that would make themselves appear to be gods for purposes of deception?
