Should I become a Security?

Well I need some money, and I'm 18, so why not become Security? It sounds fun and might get me an oppurtunity to get a license to carry concealed arms. Anyone here works/has worked as security? What are the requirements? Anything I should know? I haven't thought of a specific place to be security for, but I'm thinking maybe in a mall or a bank, somewhere where there's alot of action,, all comments would be appreciated

Sorry to break it too you, but to the best of my knowledge, at least in SC, MD, VA, WV and DE, you have to be 21 to be an ARMED Security Officer..

I think you can be 18 and be unarmed in most of those states.

I believe the Armed Status is Federal though and applies to all states...
