If this is real, its the best ufo footage captured yet. Do you know when it was filmed and where exactly in italy? Almost looks like a small model until it flies off at speed.

It's been posted on these boards before. Supposedly a model. Not the real thing.

There is a good three page thread on this for those interested:

THE AVIANO UFO

This footage has been around for sometime. It was released in the
U.S. by researcher Paola Harris at the 36th Annual International MUFON
Symposium in Denver, Colorado 2005. Paola lives in Italy and was
given a fourth generation copy by an anonimous source who told
her the video was recorded in Aviano, Italy near from the infamous
Aviano Air Base, center of a UFO controversy.

According to Paola Harris the original videographer remains unknown
and the object seems to be terrestial in origin, more properly some
kind of military prototype remote controlled. The feature in wich the
disc dissapears at the end raises questions for the italian researchers
and Paola thinks the military may be involved.

Paola Harris mentioned that this was clearely a flight test since the
videographer was in position focusing the camera where the disc
appears initially. The object is not CGI. The footage was analyzed
in Boulder, Colorado and they concluded this was a physical object
most probably a remote control prototype. The case still remains
inconclusive.

If it is a toy I want one.

Sorry if this was a repost, I did a search here for it but couldn't find anything...
The YT poster also put it up on livevideo which has a little better resolution.

That is one of the most extraordinary videos of a ufo I have seen.
I can't help but notice how the lights that go on and off disappear completely when they go off...they don't just blink out...they disappear. Superb video! I can't imagine how any toy could do that. If it is a toy, there should be thousands of them available, where are they all...and who manufactures them? Unless we have that info I don't see how anyone can be sure it is a toy.

I thought that was to good to not be CGI but if its even a remote controlled model I am still impressed but it does things I don't think any commercial flying toy could. The way it takes off in the end also suggests its powered by some form of propulsion thats currently top secret? It didn't seem to tilt and shot off very fast so what could have propelled it like that? They way the ducts or whatever they are seem to move is also very interesting and that also tells me whatever it is must be very complex and technical so if it is a prototype its cutting edge stuff.

The manner in which the light fixtures appear and disappear is another demonstration of the morphing technology of ufos. These things can alter the appearance of their craft virtually at will.
