The was was a girl from Nantucket.......no no...


I was searching one day, for advice on virii
I googled a bit, but let out a sigh.
no info, no name, for the strife it was causing
my files were dying, my computer was pausing
I clicked on more time, hoping to see
something about this thing, that was on my PC

When lo and behold, a link did appear
"come to ATS, and see what we have here."
The thread was about something called "witty"
a worm which turns big files, into something itty bitty.

That day with the virus was 3 years ago
I've been here ever since, through high, and through low.
If it wasn't for here, I'd be over there.
At some rickity old website
That didn't even care.

That was an interesting story indeed
I like it when the people in here
Can type one that accurate, with speed

Some days, when my modem shuts down
And I'm asking my self as to 'why'
No explanation; puter freezes up
All I can do is but 'sigh'

One of these days, when I go for broke
I'll let loose and buy a new one
My puter still good and burps out some worth
Til then, I'll manage to have fun!

Today supposedly is an unlucky day
Friday the 13th will come and go
Has anyone else had such bad luck
And forced fates hands to deal them a blow?

The Game

It wasn't long before we talked, and talked and talked we did
He looked deep into the legend, and did sought
Went beyond the surface and lifted the lid

"There was this man", he went on to say,
"The hellish fiend stood in his way",
And as these words passed his breath,
I saw ol' Tom shudder and sway

"This man, my friend, held fault in his heart...
and entities swirled within...
It was trouble, I knew for poor ol' Tom
And his prospects for 'good' were slim".

The darkened one stared straight and into his eyes
As if to show o'l Tom his game
"It's simple he said, and mark my words, you'll be sorry if you lose
But either way, 'if you choose or stay'
My wrath...you do not choose

These are the things that everyone holds dear,
If only these people would come more near.

And share what holds the importantance of things
