Doing a comic book...

It's for my wife's work, so kind of cheesy... Never did this style before, but the cover is already coming out better than I thought it would...
As soon as I resize the pic, and get it a smaller size, I'll post it as "in progress".... Basically, it's very superhero-like in style and genre, but of course based on "customer service", etc.

It's kind of fun, so I'll probably look to pick up some tip books on musculature, etc. and other "style" elements...

If you know any good online comic websites, that have art examples, (think Marvel or DC style, X-Men, etc.) please let me know.

Well, seems something's amiss right now with the upload area, so will try again later...as I've got most of the cover done....just waiting on a few of her employee pics so I can draw their heads in...

It's set up like that so people can't cut/paste and report the complete list.

If you are trying to download something from RS remove any spaces in the url!

And remember it is only infringing copyright if you keep the stuff. Just make sure you delete it 20 years from know!

You ever notice that their is always that one character that is crazy, odd, or strange looking.

ala: The Hulk, The Thing, The Beast (Hank McCoy)/ Hawkgirl,ect.

That one superhero that people go wow cool powers but I'm glad I don't look like him.

Well, they're the ones brainstorming the characters, story, etc.
I'm just doing the art for them.

As I said, it's for a work contest, so pretty cheesy. One of the others is "Candido", so they are making him into a villainous M&M named "The Candy Man". "Black Bart" (another guy is named "Bart") is another (pirate) villain.

My first foray into this kind of subject, so just fooling around with it and having some fun. Once I get the whole comic done, I'll post it up...but don't blame me for the story, LOL....

The deadline was originally this Friday, but seems they extended it.
I've got 10 of 14 pages done, and page 11 is inked and only about halfway shaded, page 12 is drawn, but not inked or shaded.

So, I should have it done around the weekend, then I'll make smaller images of it, so I can post it here. The powerpoint (using it for the lettering) file is already 12mb, lol...
