Ten's of thousands of Iraqis protested yesterday calling for American Troops to leave. A report released earlier in the week states that USA have made so many mistakes in the war that they have lost ALL faith in the US.

Okay, US citizens don't want us to be there, Iraqis don't want us to be there, the rest of the world doesn't want us to be there... Yet the Bush administration cintinues to ignore the calls for exit.

THE SPIN STARTS HERE.

U.S. military spokesman Rear Admiral Mark Fox said that four years ago U.S.-led forces had "liberated Iraq from Saddam's republic of fear." That had allowed Iraqis to exercise their democratic rights and stage protests such as the one in Najaf.

I think it is time to face the truth without falling back on 'what will happen if we leave.' Because look what is happening while we stay.

The key speaker at the rally in Najaf, which had up to a million protesters, was a deputy to the militia leader Al-Sadr. Al-Sadr's militia is itself responsible for a lot of the violence now going on, yet his deputy was there complaining about violence inflicted by the US military.

Its strange that militias are organizing rallies to complain about violence against them when they are themselves the main perpetrators of violence against civilians.

Puppets of Iran?

I think Iran is playing one of its cards, we are so stupid!

We would have been better off with Sadam, at least he knew how to treat ungrateful divided radical country of Iraq!

Yes Al-Sadr is a Shiite cleric and no doubt envisions an Iran style Iraq when the US exits, with good relations to Tehran.

Unfortunately we went from having a buffer to Iran to having a full blown Islamic state that is friendly with Iran. All courtesy of the US Tax Payer!

There is no question of what will happen when we leave. The Iraqies are going to kill each other. Sure the resistance is not going to say all of that. Their going to be the ones doing some killing. With the US troops gone they might even be man enought to show their faces.
